It’s been a couple of weeks since Demi Moore announced that she is divorcing hubby Ashton Kutcher and except for his surfacing on the set of Two and a Half Men the day after, Ashton has been keeping a relatively low profile. This week, tho, we learn that Kutcher has retreated to the Iowa countryside in the wake of the end of his marriage. Ashton tweeted a photo of himself and a cow yesterday … implying that he is currently in the country seeking refuge from his crazy city life.
Country Giving
The show must go on, as the saying goes. But while Demi Moore was spotted getting back to business on the set of a Hollywood photoshoot two weeks after announcing her marriage split, it seems Ashton Kutcher is doing some soul searching. The 33-year-old actor tweeted a picture of himself stood in a field, with a cow in the distance, and posted a short simple message: ‘Country Giving’. While the Two And A Half Men star did not give away the location, he has been sharing a few choice thoughts with his followers on the social networking site. ‘More Valuable than being interesting is being interested. – overheard,’ he tweeted yesterday. Demi, meanwhile, has now been spotted for the first time since announcing her intention to divorce Kutcher, who allegedly cheated on her with partygirl Sara Leal on their sixth wedding anniversary back in September. The 49-year-old actress was seen keeping busy at photoshoot on location at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood. Walking around the grounds of the sprawling historical hotel, Demi was wearing her black-rimmed glasses and a casual top. The Ghost star is seemingly throwing herself into work, known to be one of the best remedies for heartbreak. It is unknown what the photo shoot is for, but Demi is renown to regularly grace the fashion magazines. She is currently the face of fashion designer Ann Taylor’s new Holiday 2011 campaign.
While I am hopeful that Ashton will gain some clarity from the break-up of his marriage, I’m not quite sure I believe he will change his wild ways anytime soon. Still, I think the time in the country will do him some good. I just feel so bad for Demi Moore. I have no doubt that the cheating allegations (which, IMHO, are the cause of the end of her marriage) are very painful to deal with. Betrayal is the one thing that I have a very hard time forgiving. I just hope that she is able to find clarity as well. While Demi has her work, Ashton has the country … and a cow. Ugh, break-ups just really suck sometimes.
Nothing helps with clarity like a good cow. lol
