When last we heard from Michael Lohan, estranged trainwreck of a father to Lindsay Lohan, he was coolin’ his heels in jail after he was arrested (twice) for allegedly assaulting and then stalking his ex-girlfriend Kate Major. Today we get a bit of an update … but it’s not a good one. Apparently, Lohan had to be hospitalized due to a heart condition that requires immediate surgery … unfortunately, he also has a sever liver problem that must be tended to first before the heart surgery can happen. Yikes! It sounds like homeboy is in a really bad way.
Michael Lohan is set to go under the knife tomorrow, but today … sources close to MiLo tell TMZ he is having trouble breathing and speaking as he rests up for the surgery. As TMZ first reported, Lohan will undergo heart surgery on Monday and have a stent inserted. Sources close to Lohan tell us heart problems run in the family. We’re told doctors feel Lohan should have had the procedure six months ago, and that’s why he is in such bad condition today.
HMMM … mebbe if Lohan was taking care of his health 6 months ago rather than trying to bilk his daughter’s infamy for his own gain, he might not be in the situation he finds himself in today. That being said, as much as I really cannot stand the man I really hope his health improves. Heart problems coupled with liver problems is no joke … things really could take a turn for the worse. Let’s just keep our best thoughts for a full recovery. The guy may really bug but I don’t think any of us truly wish him ill will. Get better soon, Michael … we await your recovery so you can irritate us again soon ;)

Oh, I could totally hear that post-surgery conversation. “Yes, everything went great… except when we mistook your vocal cords for your liver. Your liver and heart look great now, but your voice…. not so much.”
That whole family is in need of serious rehab and therapy. I hope they all are able to heal from their issues and achieve fulfillment and happiness. I don’t feel strongly about any of them, since their behavior doesn’t affect me, but I do feel sorry for them. Each is incredibly self-destructive while being damaging to one another. It’s unfortunate.
We would all do well to adopt your compassion for these people but I find myself at a loss to do so. I feel a little terrible about thinking this photo looks posed, and that he looks very healthy for a gravely ill man. I’m not buying into it.
he’s not having any kind of surgery. incredible how people believe the crap he’s putting out. he’s having a stent put in which is a common procedure that requires about a day at the hospital. that pic is clearly staged. if he were really having problems breathing they would have him hooked up to oxygen and a heart monitor and he has neither.
I wonder why we haven’t heard anything else about his condition. He must have been jonesing because his picture has not made the news since his incarceration. Seems to me if he was so critical he would be in ICU.

I also wondered about that. It looks like a golf club cover, so I am glad it is on his pillow and not situated somewhere less fortunate.
I would also question who put the leads on his chest (the heart monitor), they are not on properly. So the tracing would be wrong
