First Look: Amy Winehouse, ‘Lioness: Hidden Treasures’

Earlier today it was revealed that plans are in the works to release a new album of previously unreleased songs recorded by the late Amy Winehouse and now we learn that her official website has been updated with a lot of information about the posthumous album. It appears that this collection of tracks is a sort of odds and ends compilation of songs recorded by Amy over the years. I understand that she had completed an entire new album of new songs before her death but it would seem that that album will be released later. ‘American Horror Story’ Has Been Picked Up For A Second Season

Here’s a treat for all you American Horror Story fans out there … FX has decided to renew the show for a second season! Altho the series is only 4 episodes old, the network has decided that there is more than enough interest to order a second season. As a BIG fan of the show, I for one am ECSTATIC at this news. As soon as one episode is finished, I’m already yearning for the next. This news that a second season of AHS is on the way is just the best news ever. More »

While pretty much EVERYONE has been operating on the assumption that Jessica Simpson is pregnant, she has managed to remain completely silent on the matter. Despite the fact that she has been showing off a significant baby bump for weeks, Jess has refused to comment on the pregnancy rumors … until now. Jessica just tweeted a message that read !!!ANNOUNCEMENT!!! that pointed to a photo of the former popstar dressed as a Mummy. A “mummy”, get it? More »

Last night David and I were invited over to Tam and Rob’s place to hang out with them and their friends Tiffany and Brett for a fun movie night. We all wanted to do something low key so we gathered at their place for a double feature. As usual, we had a devil of a time agreeing on what movies to watch but in the end we decided first to watch a film that most of us hadn’t seen and then a classic 80s horrorfilm that we all love dearly. A Sister’s Eulogy For Steve Jobs

The New York Times has published in full the eulogy delivered by Steve Jobs‘s sister Mona Simpson that was given at the late Apple CEO‘s memorial service on October 16. The beautifully poignant eulogy contains not only Jobs‘s last words but also paints a picture of Jobs that I’m sure not many of us knew before. The full text of Simpson‘s words are worth your time. Her eulogy gives us a feel for what kind of man the very private Steve Jobs was in his all too short life. You can read it below. More »

Madonna’s Homeless Brother Anthony Ciccone Speaks Out On His Family Estrangement

A couple of weeks ago we learned that Madonna‘s older brother Anthony Ciccone has become a homeless man living on the streets of Traverse City, MI after he was profiled in a local news report about the city’s homeless population. Since that time, Anthony has arguably become the most famous homeless man in the world. Ciccone has previously only given a few comments about his estranged situation with his family but today we get to hear more, much more from the man. According to Anthony, his family has previously attempted to get him into a rehab program … and he refused. He insists his family has washed their hands of him but by the sound of his comments in this new interview, he sounds to me like a man that is resistant to accept any help they might offer. More »

Victoria Beckham & Harper Seven Enjoy Some Girl Time Together

Last week we saw cute photos of daddy David Beckham loving all up on his 3 month old baby girl Harper Seven on a recent family outing together. Today we get to see cute photos of mommy Victoria Beckham getting in some alonetime with the adorable baby girl. As you might guess, everyone in the Beckham family wants to be the one hold and nuzzle lil Ms. Harper so I’m sure it was no small feat for Vicki B. to wrestle away the baby so that she could hold her for a bit.
