Last week we learned from Rihanna herself that she was planning to scrap plans for the release of a rerelease of her last album Loud in lieu of releasing an entirely new album of music. On Thursday, Rihanna confirmed that she will be releasing a new album this Fall. Rumor has it that the disc will come out in early December (just in time for Xmas) with a first single hitting radio “in a few days”. Ready for more Ri Ri? Cuz, here it comes.

I mean, I am not at ALL surprised that we might be hearing new Rihanna music very soon … homegirl really loves to churn out the music. I know it seems odd to some that Rihanna is choosing to release new music so quickly but back in the 50′s, artists put out new music constantly … that is why Elvis has so many #1 songs and Top 40 singles. I say, do your thing girl … Rihanna knows now to bring the heat … I can’t wait to hear her new stuff.
