Rihanna’s New Single ‘We Find Love’ Hits Radio This Week
The Single is Due for Release on Oct. 11

Last weekend we learned that Rihanna is planning to release her next album by year’s end and today we get news on her new single. The song, produced by Calvin Harris, will be titled We Find Love and it is due to hit radio this week. The single will be available for purchase next month, ahead of Ri Ri‘s as-yet-untitled new album’s release in December. Ready for new Rihanna? Cuz … it’s comin’!

Rihanna has been teasing the single’s title, as you can see above. As I understand it, We Find Love is due to hit radio this Thursday and the single will be available for sale on October 11 … the same day that our dear Britney Spears will release Criminal as a single. I know some folks aren’t keen on new Rihanna music so soon but … I’m amped. From what I hear, We Find Love will be a fun, upbeat track. I can’t wait to hear it :D

I feel like it’s kinda expected for Rihanna to have new music coming out now. For the last like three years or so we have been getting new music from her on a yearly basis. It is usually around November so it’s about a month later (in terms of the album release) than in the past, but I love Rihanna so I see no problem in new music so soon. The year she goes without releasing new music will be an awkward year for sure.

we’ve been getting new music from her yearly since she debuted in 2005. I like Rihanna too, but there comes a point where there’s just too much.

i still say its too soon. Loud has probably been her best album for singles so far…she should have atleast waited till january.

Am I the only one that’s over her?
Goodness, she just needs to go away for a couple of months

I am getting a little bit of Rhianna overload. I can’t stand her most recent single, Cheers (drink to that). The Avril Lavigne sample is like nails on chalk board. IMO, probably the worst sample I have ever heard on a song. It is unlistenable to me, which is sad because otherwise the song is alright.

i’m so confused as to why she would be debuting a new single this week when she only released “cheers” a couple weeks ago– it’s still climbing the charts! it’s not my favorite and i’m definitely ready for some new rihanna, but the timing just strikes me as being very odd…

I find myself over this chick. She needs to go away for a few years and come back, this new album every year business is getting really, really old.

will new album = new hair? please god!

I like Rihanna, but the thing I really about the news is that she’s collaborating with Calvin Harris. Loooove him! Should be a great track!

Rihanna has nothing to do put pimp those songs out. She has no life outside of her career. Even Beyonce has slowed down and GaGa has quieted down a bit. Rihanna I hope you realize how high the stakes are after the success of the Loud era. A bit soon I think. Early 2012 would have been better.

Whilst I’m all for new Rihanna music, I will admit it IS too soon. I know we’ve had an album almost every year since her debut, but still…

I think the problem also is, LOUD deserves more than what they’ve given it.
If you think about it, thats 3 albums over 2 tours or even 1 and a half tours considering she changed the setlist when LOUD came out and then went back to Europe/US immediately after her last leg of “Last Girl on Earth” in Australia and toured again.

She seems really dedicated to her work, i’ll giver her credit there. But LOUD was a great album (in fact her last 3 albums have been terrific!) but I really think it deserves more attention. I mean CHEERS has #1 potential with more marketing, which would even her with Katy Perry & MJ afterall. Can’t believe they’re not pushing for that!

They really shouldn’t have marketed Man Down like they did, its not a bad song, but marketing it to just Urban whilst King Bed to Pop is a bad idea these days. Not so much for first single but mid way through its bad.
They should have gone with Cheers after S&M and then with King Bed last. For me, King Bed has the same appeal as Big Girls Don’t Cry, but her label f**ked it up.

It’s clearly sounding like Femme Fatale, abandoning that for a Remix album whose songs are already available on iTunes!? Ridiculous.

I think Ri’s team could wait towards the end of October before the single release, that way Cheers can have some more radio time. That’s gonna get dropped so quickly now, which is a shame. I always thought upon hearing it that it would be another #1 for her.

I don’t care how much people are sometimes against it, but if they really wanted more album sales, they should have gone with a re-release with a few new songs. Rolled with Cheers and then a re-release single in time for Xmas and some Deluxe version for sale. Probably won’t generate as much as a new album would over the same period, but still… her previous re-release for Good Girl Gone Bad was nothing short of success with 2 #1 singles.

R.I.P. Loud, just like Rated R.

I think that her aulbulm is so awesome. I think she doesnt have to wait to make a new aulbulm. She is old enough to do what ever she wants. She always makes great hits, and i always listen to them .No one should tell her or anybody to do ,she is in charge of her and her persoality, therefore no one can jugde her.And she is always one of my favoritesingers other than Justin Bieber.
