Will And Jada Pinkett-Smith Are All Smiles Amid Break-up Rumors
Happy Days?

In light of the rampant break-up rumors going around about Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith (both yesterday and today), the couple decided to step out in public together in Malibu, CA today to show a united front and prove to the world that they are happy and in love. The couple lunched together then did a bit of shopping with huge smiles on their faces, seemingly telling the world Nothing to see here, folks. We are as happy as can be. Check out the happy photos of the “intact” couple below.

As much as I am rooting for these two to really stay together, the skeptic in me CANNOT HELP but be suspicious of these photos. One day after break-up rumors start going around, the couple step out together lookin’ as happy as can be? I mean, yes, it’s absolutely possible that they are happy and that this was just another day for them … but it looks really suspicious none the less. In the end, Will and Jada‘s marriage woes (or no woes) are truly known only to them and they will be the one’s to decide how they move forward. I’d like to believe that they are both really happy and in love … let’s hope that is true.

Am I the only one that thinks their smiles look forced?

    • Hannah says:

To be fair, if I had photographers following me hoping to get a photo of me looking depressed so they can turn that into a breakup story I’d have a forced smile on my face too.

    • krissy says:

But that might be because they are being over analyized. If they looked “normal” people would speculate that they are unhappy.

I bet they step out together all the time- they’re just actually being papped now because they’re all over the news.

  3. ChristineLA says:

Trent, I completely agree with you. I even said to myself yesterday, “just don’t go shopping together tomorrow, and I might believe you.” This united front of shopping is getting really played out in Hollywood.

  4. teri says:

Totally agree w/the other posts here…a little too smiley, no? How much does anyone want to wager that in about a week from now we’ll hear of their “split”??? I hope I’m wrong…

  5. Danielle says:

It’s like a double edge sword when it comes to break-up rumors in Hollywood. If they show up somewhere looking ‘together’ people think they are putting on a show, fueling further speculation. But if they continue about their regular business and don’t end up photographed together for a little while afterwards, the runors continue to run wild. They are damned if they do and damned if they don’t basically.

THANK YOU!!!! You hit the nail on the mu fuggin head! lol No matter what from now on everything will be met with skeptism…is it wrong if they did have an issue and are trying to work it out?

  6. ashley says:

I feel there body language is uncomfortable in these pictures. I see they are not close to each other, not holding hands and lack of eye contact.

    • sals says:

haha i dont always hold my husbands hand in public. sheesh. give them a break! lack of eye contact? that’s cuz they’re not facing eachother! LOL are they supposed to be staring deeply into eachothers eyes while they walk forward?

  7. gayana says:

    rumours are b.s))

why would someone put on a “fake” (as some ppl say here) smile and go out in public if the couple is going through difficult times?

rumours in hollywood spread with the speed of light, someone said something and there you go everyone is talkign about it… lol i kinda believe it’s all b.s and the rumours are FAKE)

  8. Nicola says:

I’d rather it not be true because I think Will Smith is awesome and I love the fact they’ve been married at least 4x longer than most Hollywood couples… but to be fair, you’d have to be one idiotic magazine editor to approve that story without a shred of decent evidence…because otherwise you’ll get your ass sued by one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood.

Have you ever read star magazine? They frequently publish articles that are completely untrue based on some “anonymous source.” Most articles in that magazine weekly are pure B/S with no basis in fact. These magazines exist to sell copies, and if there isn’t something juicy enough for the cover, they have no qualms about making something up to make money. They aren’t out for journalistic fact, they want gossip, pure and simple, whether it is true or not.

    • krissy says:

Nicola, the laws in the US protect the magazines from lawsuits over false stories. In order to prove slander, you not only have to prove that the story is false, you also have to prove that the publication KNEW it was false when they printed it, AND that they intended to do financial harm with the story. That is very hard to prove, especially with something as vague as “marriage difficulties”.

In the UK, the merely have to prove that the information was false.

I’m pretty sure inTouch needed to steal some of People’s K.Kard wedding thunder and this was the best they could come up with. But it worked, they planted the doubt seed and now we’ll doubt every pic we see of these two.

both gay – isn’t that common knowledge?
