Watch: The Batwing Takes Flight On The Set Of ‘The Dark Knight Rises’
Plus, Joseph Gordon-Levitt Surfaces on Set

Earlier this week we saw video of a Catwoman stunt gone wrong on the Pittsburgh, PA set of the upcoming sequel film Batman: The Dark Knight Rises. Today we get to see more video from the Batman set but this time, there were no accidents. For the first time, we get to see Batman‘s mode of air transportation in action. Additionally, we get to see a couple of fanshot photos of actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt on the film set. Click below to check out all the goods.

As you may recall, the previous Batman films of the 90′s all featured some sort of Batman airplane. This is our first look at the Batwing as envisioned by director Christopher Nolan … and it looks pretty sweet, if I do say so myself. It’s funny to see it being carted around on a truck but I know it’s gonna look awesome in the final cut of the film. As for JGL, well, previously we saw photos of Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard and Anne Hathaway on set … so now it’s time to see Joseph on set, too:

It’s funny how little the film producers are doing to try and keep info from the set of The Dark Knight Rises under wraps. I mean, I’m certain they will be keeping the most important plot stuff under strict lock and key to be filmed inside away from prying eyes … but these streets scenes are just out there for anyone with a camera to document. I don’t mind these little teases but as the time grows near for the film’s release, I’m deffo going to be staying away from any and all spoilers. But this early in filming, yeah, I’m happy to see any and everything :D

I’m trying to avoid looking at all these videos and photos from the set so that I can be surprised and awed when I see the film … but I used to live in pittsburgh, and my fb newsfeed is full of photos and bits of info from my friends who are still there. my curiosity is getting the better of me. :)

Doesn’t anyone want to bitch and moan about this in the same manner they ripped Hathaway last week? At least be consistent people.
