Early last week we saw the first photos of actor Chris Evans in costume as Captain America on the Cleveland, OH set of the upcoming superhero film The Avengers. Last weekend, we saw the first photos of actor Chris Hemsworth in costume as Thor along side Evans on the Avengers set. Today we get to see the first photos of actor Tom Hiddleston in costume as the villainous Loki on set … and he looks badass, as usual. Check out the photos below.

I really enjoyed Hiddleston‘s portrayal of Loki in Thor this past Spring so I am very much looking forward to his return in The Avengers. What I loved most about the character is that altho he is painted as a villain, it is easy to sympathize with him. In Thor, Loki really was a victim of circumstance. My guess is that he will be more nefarious in The Avengers but he will not be the only bad guy in the film. Even still, despite his somewhat sympathetic nature, it’s hard not to see a badass when you see him in costume. Loki rules. The Avengers have their work cut out for them if Loki choose to oppose them. Cool photos, eh?
