FANTASTIC news, Britney Spears fans … Britney herself tweeted yesterday that she will be filming her Femme Fatale Tour concert performance in Toronto, Ontario tonight for future DVD release. For the past couple of months, there has been speculation that our dear Britney might film one of her shows for an HBO special and/or DVD release. Now we know … but the show will not be broadcast on HBO. Instead, it will be made available on the video on demand service EPIX. Click below to read Britney’s tweet announcement.

YESSSSSS!! Altho I’m a big bummed that they are filming a show that I cannot attend, I am THRILLED that we know have a DVD of the show to look forward to. Without exaggeration, Britney‘s Femme Fatale Tour is, IMHO, one of the best big stage concerts I’ve seen in a long time … and it is DEFFO the tour of 2011. I know there a lot of people who just couldn’t (for whatever reasons) make it out to see Britney on tour this time around so at the very least they can see the show that has been thrilling audiences across the US … and soon, the rest of the world. Woot! So excited!!

I used to watch her “Live in Las Vegas” DVD religiously when I was 11 years old! Now I’m 21 and tonight’s my first time seeing her live and it’s being filmed for release. Full circle! Love my Britney!

I was at the Toronto show last night and it was the best show ever! And i have seen various artists perform. I went with several friends who were not really Britney fans but by the end of the night, they were converted! She did great job, interacted with the crowd and mostly sang live (and did amazing). I can`t wait to get the DVD to look for myself in the crowd (i was pretty close!!). Also , it might be interesting to note that Colin Ferrel was in the house as was Drake!
How do you know Colin Farrell was at the concert? were you sitting near him? omg i was there and pretty close as well, did not see or hear of him being in attendance.
Before the concert started I was siting in my seat near the right side of the main stage and Colin came from backstage to look at the stage set up and look around. He was wearing a plaid shirt and a fedora hat. I was about three feet away from him and I’m 100% certain it was him. Never saw Colin actually watch the show though after that initial sighting but then again, I wasn’t looking for him with Britney on stage!!! LoL. Colin has been in town shooting the new Total Recall film.

woooooo! i’m so excited that a big name artist is featuring an amazing concert, right next-door in TORONTO! and Britney too… for those of us who missed it, i’m sure an HD experience will be next best to seeing it live!
