Watch: ‘Glee: The 3D Concert Movie’ Releases A First Movie Trailer
In Your Face
In the wake of the (not so) surprising news that lead actors Lea Michele, Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith will be leaving Glee after the upcoming 3rd season, today we get to feast our eyes on the first movie trailer for the upcoming Glee film. Presented in 3D, Glee: The 3D Concert Movie will bring to movie theaters the hit, sold-out live concert tour that’s been wowing audiences over the past few months. Click below to check it out.
I’m pretty sure that some of you (many of you?) are suffering major bouts of Glee fatigue but, I’m not gonna lie, when I saw this trailer on the big screen last night … I suddenly got excited. The 3D version of this trailer was shown in front of midnight showings of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 last night and it looked really cool. Glee may be losing (some of) its steam on the small screen, but in a 3D concert setting … it might be worth checking out. I think this looks good, don’t you?

I <3 me some Glee like the next gal, but why does this film need to be in 3D? :)
$3 extra per ticket ;)
The $3 pays for the glasses so I’m actually not too sure how much extra the theatre makes from that
MY BEST FRIEND LEAH AND I MIGHT POSS BE IN THIS MOVIE!! lol we went to this concert and had really awesome seats, so fingers crossed…maybe this will lead to my 15min of fame? (prob not at all but hey i can dream can’t i?)
I kind of can’t deal with 3-D, and I really can’t deal with the $17 sticker price for a 3-D movie here in New York. That aside, it looks like an awesome show.
Bee tee dubs, it now seems from Chris Colfer’s quote last night it is clear that contrary to Ryan Murphy saying he “involved” Colfer and Lea Michele in the decision to have their characters depart, that no one was told about this in advance. I really hope that exec from Fox sits Ryan Murphy down and tells him that you can not, should not, go rogue on your own cast this way. Given that this guy doesn’t seem to give a hoot about anyone other than himself, I fear for the future success of Glee.
heather Morris, the only reason why I will watch this movie, now I’m just sick of glee :S
I’m sorry, but Glee is an awful show. I never did like it. It has lost its spunk, originality, and message, too. The show often contradicts itself and I just don’t understand how it’s even surviving… It’s terrible.
I can’t freaking wait! I sooo wanted to see this show live, and this is the next best thing. I’ve watched grainy YouTube videos all tour long and it seems like an amazing show! I hate 3D movies for the most part, but concert movies in 3D just seem to make it more like you are actually at the concert live in the flesh so I won’t hate on that. Plus, I can see a 3D movie here for about $9. ;)
