‘Ringer’ Releases A New Comic-Con Trailer
'Ringer' 'Round the Rosey
Back in May we got to check out an extended preview trailer for the upcoming new CW TV series Ringer which stars Sarah Michelle Gellar. As you may know, Ringer makes SMG‘s return to broadcast television for the first time since she ended her 8-year leading run on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In celebration of the kick-off of Day 1 of 2011 San Diego Comic-Con, The CW released an entirely new video trailer for Ringer … which you can watch in full below.
OMG … chills! I loved the trailer we saw in May but this one seems more … exciting and emotional. I am SO looking forward to the debut of this show come Fall. The release of this trailer is only the first appearance of Ringer at Comic-Con. Tomorrow, the cast of Ringer — including SMG — will participate in a discussion panel at Comic-Con and that should be pretty sweet. Here’s hoping ALL the deets from tomrrow’s panel discussion make their way to the Internets for those of us not at Comic-Con to enjoy. This show looks great, don’t you think?

It looks like the more mature/better version of a show that abc family keeps advertising: The Lying Game.
@Hannah — Yeah, I noticed that. The Lying Game looks very similar, but geared toward a younger audience.
This looks fantastic! I am so glad to see a network finally recognizing SMG’s amazing acting skills… I can’t wait to see how the arrange for both sisters to be in a scene at once. (I’m also happy to see that SMG is choosing good roles as well… she’s been in some pretty crappy stuff post-Buffy!)
Actually the panel was yesterday

@didi — OH, I thought it was Saturday. Thanks!!
The pilot was decent, but a little on the cheesy “Lifetime Movie” side of story-telling. SMG was great, but I can see why ABC and CBS passed on this show. Interesting to see how it develops.
VERY excited about this show!
@ Hannah – yeah I saw the advertisements for “The Lying Game” too and thought the same thing but The Ringer looks waaay better than The Lying Game (IMOP)
looks pretty interesting
i like!
Oooh I’m definitely excited about this.
looks interesting!
