Newly Single Jennifer Lopez Surfaces In Public
Life Goes On for La Diva Latina
On Friday we learned the somewhat surprising news that Jennifer Lopez and her hubby of 7 years Marc Anthony decided to end their marriage (reportedly splitting up the weekend before). Since news of the split came out, J. Lo has stayed pretty much out of sight … surfacing only briefly as she exited the Milk Studios in LA yesterday afternoon.
Pending divorce or not, life goes on … and La Diva Latina has got business to take care of. Jen has been enjoying a bit of a career boost in the last few months due to her new gig as judge on American Idol. Methinks she will be throwing herself into her work in order to try and minimize news of her personal drama. She will be just fine, absolutely.

Sometimes I can’t believe this woman is 41. The above pic makes her look in her 40s, but it’s mostly because of poor lighting. Seriously, she’s evading old age … perhaps because she sold her soul to the devil. But now they’re getting divorced, so maybe that’s why she’s all of a sudden looking older? Haha, I kid. Everyone seems to think the split is recent (last weekend), but their statement said that they had already worked out everything amicably. Given their kids, combined wealth, co-ownership of real estate and other properties, joint projects, and that Marc is a machismo night worm and Jennifer is a diva, this split was weeks if not months in the planning. This talk about realizing “trouble was afoot because he didn’t go to meet the royal family” does not mean they split last weekend.

It’s too bad that it had to happen. I liked them as a couple.
I feel like this was over long time ago… like back in February when news originally came out about them splitting. I think for some reason they held off on separating publicly until now!
