That’s it … tonight’s the night … the world of Harry Potter comes to a FINAL end tonight at midnight when Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows – Part 2 opens in theaters here in the US. The day that Potter fans have been excited about/dreading has finally arrived. To celebrate the final Harry Potter film, presented in 3D, AMC Theaters are giving away special Harry Potter-style 3D glasses for the first showings of the film. If you are among the lucky people to see the film first tonight, then you’ll be going home with a pair of these special glasses as a memento.
Darion and I will be at an AMC Theater here in LA to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Parts 1 & 2 back to back starting at 9 PM. I am really excited and really bummed to be honest. I’m so anxious to see this film but I’m so upset that once it’s over … it’s ALL over. I do really love that the 3D glasses we’re gonna get are these special Harry Potter-style glasses. I’m not sure if any other theaters are giving them away as well but … head over to eBay if you really want to get a pair of these glasses. The end is nigh … so nigh, I don’t even want to think about it. I’ve never been so happy AND sad about a single thing before. Are any of y’all gonna be at midnight showings of The Deathly Hallows tonight … if so, bring some extra Kleenex … I might need to borrow some :(

That is awesome!! I think I am going to see the movie tomorrow while everyone is at work in the morning. I think that is the best time to see it so no one hears me crying my eyes out!! I can’t wait to see you review but hopefully I have seen it by then!
I tried on a pair earlier this week. They will not work over most glasses. The myopic masses will be forced to track down boring old 3D glasses, unfortunately.

Going tonight at midnight! Can’t wait to get the glasses! Although, I know this is going to be rough. I have been getting teary eyed just reading the reviews today.
I cant believe tonight is THE night!!! Im so freakin’ excited… I hope my theater gives us those kind of glasses… my joy would be far more superior!!! OMG, I dont wanna cry in front of everybody, I know I will… Ive been watching all the movies this week to be prepared!!! =)
Going Saturday night to a Rave cinema – I doubt they’ll have the glasses, lol! I’m looking forward to it, but also not looking forward to seeing this film…
My daughter and I cannot wait to see this at our Local theater in Springfield, VT. Tonight is also a GRAND OPENING because the theater was destroyed July 8th 2008, by fire. Our theater is also giving away the glasses tonight for us to keep. WAY cool. My daughter is so excited! She is the Harry Potter lover. I thought they were OK but not as big of a fan as she is.
i went to a midnight screening the other night over here in Australia…it was amazing!! hope you enjoy the movie, and yeah….bring tissues!
Waited in line in our small town for the grand opening of our theater and it was SOLD out and still about 20 people in front of us. My daughter was bummed out after staying up to see it. Now I guess we wait until the end of the year and buy it on DVD like the last 6 Harry Potters. lol
