First Look: The Teaser Trailer For ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ Has Leaked To The Internets [UPDATE]
Watch It While You Can
Last week the teaser trailer for Batman: The Dark Knight Rises leaked to the Internets (and was finally officially released yesterday) and today we have another leak. The first video teaser for the upcoming reboot film The Amazing Spider-Man has made its way online. As you can imagine, the teaser is being yanked down left and right but you can check it out in full below … while it stays online.
As you may recall, last week we got to see a batch of new Amazing Spider-Man promo images HERE and HERE courtesy of Entertainment Weekly magazine. This teaser leak, tho, prolly wasn’t supposed to happen until this weekend’s 2011 San Diego Comic-Con … but it’s out now. What do y’all think? I do like that the tone of the story seems to be darker than the original set of films. I also really love how it ends … showing us the view from Spider-Man‘s perspective as he runs across (and on) the buildings of NYC. I know it’s blurry and shaky (as these leaked trailers tend to be) but … do you like what you see?
UPDATE: Unfortch, the trailer had to be taken down by movie studio request. The trailer is still out there in the Internets, I’m sure …

From this preview it looks really promising – I like how it has the dark feeling like the NEW Batman’s instead of the previous Spiderman’s…they had that cheese factor but this one looks like it will be really good. Hope it doesn’t disappoint. And thank you for sharing :-)
Can’t wait! Why did Tobey Maguire decide not to be in this film, seeems so silly to me, it won’t be the same…why change what’s working for you? Oh well! I will still watch it, can’t wait until next year now!
@Lori — It wasn’t Tobey’s decision. The movie studio decided to start over and make an entire new franchise of films. It’s all money-driven.
Plus Tobey Maguire SUCKS, esp as Peter Parker…ruined the films for me

To be honest I was worried when I saw the images in EW. Looked to “comic book”. But if the whole movie is anything like the trailer it’s going to be good. I like the first person perspective. Great Idea!

I HAVE BEEN READING SO MANY COMMENTS ABOUT THE COSTUME , ANDREW GARFEILD , PEOPLE ALREADY CAST THERE JUDGEMENT WHEN I WATCHED THE TRAILER ALL I CAN SAY IS ITS LOOKS DARK , COOL AND BAD ASS ALL THE HATERS OUT THERE THIS ALREADY MAKES SAMS RAIMIS VERSION LOOK LIKE A SCOOBY SNACK LOL .
