Last Friday we learned the happy news that singer P!nk and her motocross motorcycling hubby Carey Hart gave birth to their first born child, a daughter they named Willow Sage. Today we learn that the new mommy and daddy brought home their bouncing bundle of joy from the hospital. The front gate of the Hart home was decorated with a lovely heart wreath … that was waiting for them as they arrived in their black SUV with baby on board.

It’s not at all uncommon for a baby to be released from the hospital so soon after birth but somehow this seems really quick to me. Still, it’s a very good sign that P!nk and Carey are able to bring Willow home from the hospital so quickly … that means she is a very healthy baby. I’m certain we’ll be getting our first look at little Willow soon enough. The baby photos could be published in a magazine or, ever the Twitter fan, P!nk could post the first photo on her official Twitter profile. I guess we’ll have to wait and see. In the meantime, here’s hoping the happy Hart family can spend as much time as they need getting to know one another in their loving home … together.

I like willow but why sage? That’s a dumb ass middle name.
I really think they are going to be amazing parents. So happy for them!
Ouch @Kattmow – Sage is a dumb ass middle name? It’s better than what some celebrities name their kids, Sage means wise etc. And @Trent – actually they’re not home that quick, when you have a natural birth and there’s no complications, you get sent home pretty quickly. And I love the pink heart very fitting for little Willow Hart! :)
I think the name is beautiful. I am so happy for Pink and her family…but I REALLY wish she could celebrate without the paparazzi sitting outside of her house taking pictures. Not cool. It should be up to the parents whether or not they want pictures of their newborn released…it shouldn’t be left up to the discretion of some creepy man hiding in the bushes.
People get so crazy about celeb babies anymore, they really do push the limits of decency.
Willow Sage?
Is it a baby or a candle? Or the newest Chanel nail polish color?
i like the name :) for a celebrity baby (especially from pink) it is not all that out there. i think it probably has a lot of meaning for them. they seem like the kind of people who would pick a meaningful name :) love it.
Love them and so happy for them!!! Cute name!
Why are people so snarky about other people’s childrens’ names? It isn’t your child. Perhaps it is a family name for them. At the end of the day, is that REALLY the thing to get pissy about? You might not like it, but you don’t have to tuck that child into bed at night. Get over it.
I’m allowed to think it’s a stupid name just as you are allowed to like it.
Not that quick my friendhad a baby on Saturday morning and came home last night
Didn’t Pink name one of her dogs F*cker? She could have given the kid a WAY worse name! But, I agree with Susie. Willow Sage does kind of sound like a scented candle.
I wud love to see a pic of Willow Sage Hart but not like this. I’d rather like the pic to come from her parents …on their own terms not via paps.
If everything goes well & there’s no complications, you & baby can go home after 24 hours. I elected to do that with my second child because I wanted to sleep in my own bed!!
I LOVE the name Willow :) My youngest daughter is Willow
I thought that their daughters name was going to be more out of the box than that, but I think its a pretty name. They almost kick you out of the hospital now, I had my daughter at 1pm on a friday, sat at 6pm I was out.
Congrats to Alecia and Carey! Long life and happiness to baby Willow!
Three days in the hospital is fast? That’s a long stay, actually. We’ve become accustomed in this country to thinking of birth as this emergency that requires constant vigilance and generations of females are now completely out of touch with the reality of it. Hospitals are for sick and injured people and it’s ludicrous to put healthy mothers and babies in them. In this state, mother and child can go home after two hours and I know numerous families that have chosen to eschew hospitals and their skyrocketing c-section and infection rates altogether. I did and had a healthy baby and great delivery without any of that artificial crap. Women are designed to have babies, it’s a natural event.
congrats on the new baby willow sage hart im so happy for them and hope for the best in the future
