Considering all of the media promo that Shania has been doing (for her new reality TV show and book), I was very surprised to not only learn that Shania is releasing new music … but that this new single was already available for purchase on iTunes. Here is our first taste of Shania‘s new song Today Is Your Day:

I’m not immediately taken with this new single but I am very excited that Shania is releasing new music. As much as I loathe the way her ex-husband Mutt Lange treated her, he really is a music genius. I’m very curious to hear what Shania‘s music will be like without him.
