Last weekend we got our first listen of Björk‘s new single Crystalline, which is taken from her upcoming new album Biophilia. Today we get to check out the single cover artwork for Crystalline as the song has been released for sale on iTunes. While it may look like Björk is channeling her inner Rihanna with this crazy red wig, I can assure you … it’s all Björk. I am crazy in love with Crystalline. In case you missed it before or just want another listen, here you go:

LOL, at the “She Rocks” pun. OH, those Icelanders and their crazy rock music! I kid.
Here’s Bjork doing actual musical ART, which far outdoes all other singers who CLAIM gimmicks as art. What’s horrible is the mainstream recognizes these gimmicky singers as true artists while often overlooking true, mostly un-hyped artists like Bjork.
When it comes down to it: it’s all about money and using people who are relentless and shameless in selling themselves, to sell newspapers and magazines.
Thank goodness “Crystalline” isn’t an 80s rock ballad wannabe that gets far overplayed on my area’s radio stations. Unfortunately, since it isn’t that bad 80s rock ballad wannabe, it likely won’t get played here at all …
