Just days after the 2 year anniversary of Michael Jackson‘s death, OK! magazine is publishing an interview with troubled pop star Aaron Carter wherein he claims that MJ gave him drugs and alcohol during hang out sessions. Altho Aaron takes some responsibility by saying that he “could’ve refused” the offers of illicit (and illegal) items, it’s clear that the interview is meant to cast the late King of Pop in a negative light … but for what purpose? Click below to read some excerpts from Carter‘s new OK! interview about his time with Michael Jackson.

On the second anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death, his former friend and confidant, Aaron Carter, 23, has come clean about his close – and controversial – relationship with the pop singer, revealing all to internationally renowned interviewer Daphne Barak during a charity visit to Marbella, Spain. Exposing their most intimate moments together, Aaron tells OK! how MJ gave him drugs and alcohol when he was just 15. ‘I never talked about it… This is the first time. I do… I miss Michael… I have spent such incredible times with him. I did things with him that nobody else did… But I was also troubled about what he did to me,’ Aaron says. When asked whether Michael gave him alcohol, Aaron tells Daphne, ‘Yes, he gave me wine. I mean, I could have refused, but I was 15.’ As for drugs? ‘He gave me cocaine. I felt weird about that and other stuff… We spoke afterwards, hours and hours, on the phone. I admired Michael, but his behaviour bothered me a lot. Then my mother called the police…’
HMMM. I’m not sure what to make of this revelation. When last we heard from Aaron Carter, he was checking himself into rehab back in January … which is really not very surprising because the kid has been in and out of rehab for years. I’m always very hesitant to discount revelations of abuse like this (and make no mistake, this is an allegation of severe child abuse) because I have no interest in blaming the victim in situations like this … IF the allegations are true. I suppose we have no reason to disbelieve Carter‘s claims (and let’s not forget — there were many allegations that MJ provided alcohol to children while he was still alive) … but the timing of the revelation AND decision to tell (sell?) this story to a tabloid seems suspect. In the end, it’s Aaron Carter‘s word against a dead man’s. What do y’all think of Aaron Carter‘s revelation? Do you believe him?

I was abused as a kid by a family member; it tore my family apart when it was revealed 18 years later; I was 7, didn’t tell anyone until I was 25. It helped me heal to reveal the truth. This monster is now dying of cancer and now she’s a saint to some of my family members and they wonder why we don’t forgive her (yes my abuser was female). Luckily I didn’t become a mess like Aaron Carter, but many many victims do. I cannot discount his allegations. For his sake I hope it isn’t true b/c survival from sexual abuse is a daily struggle.
Its not true. I saw the interview and MJ never gave him drugs. He said ne never saw MJ doing that.
If this was true, it would have come out years ago. There would have been a police report when his mother called the police. People will believe anything bad when it comes to Michael Jackson. They believed he lied about his skin condition, and he was proven truthful only after his death.
I don’t believe Aaron at all.
A story like that he would have come out when he died. You dont go to OK! for a story that Barbra Walters would pay a lot more. Hes a druggie who probably just needed quick fix of money. DIsgusting I dont believe it because it defintly would have been a bigger story. Did michael do things to boys probably. But no need to drag his name thru the mud
I believe the wine part, and am seriously disturbed by the “and I did things with him that nobody else did” part. But he seemed to mention cocaine and the mom calling the cops part so nonchalantly that I need to read the full text of this interview to understand the context, but it seems possible he is just embellishing to make it a bigger story. That wouldn’t be fair, and no one will ever know :(
Most of this is a lie:

The real interview here:
AC: The only other person who knows about this is Chris, so… and it was a great time. It was fun, ’cause I don’t think Michael ever really got a chance to do stuff like that.
Fame is for me, it’s nothing, you know. A person is a person, that’s how I look at it. People are people. That’s how I looked at Michael. If I had a feeling or a question, I asked him. I never had a fliter with him. I think he respected that.
Daphne: Did you see him doing drugs or anything?
AC: I mean, there was definitely things that happened, you know, that were just different, you know, weird. He drank around me a little bit.
Daphne: And you were like what, 14, 15?
AC: Yeah. I was around 14 years old. (He was 15)
Daphne: (Did you have a drink? Did you see him drunk? I can’t understand her irritating voice)
AC: Yeah, a little.
AC: I personally didn’t see any drug addiction issues. You know, I never saw any injections, nothing like that.
Daphne: (Can’t understand)
Aaron: The time that I spent with him, yes, he was fine. But who knows, human body builds tolerance for things you know. The human body, it’s just how it is. So who knows, I mean he could’ve been doing something I didn’t have a clue, so.
Daphne: But you spent a short time with him actually. He could’ve been taking pills and you wouldn’t know.
Aaron: Yeah, absolutely. Go in the bathroom (mimes snorting). It takes two seconds. You know.
I wanted to express a message to him so that he could hear it. I want to protect his legacy. It’s funny because a lot of the things that Michael did that I want to do. This is a tribute. (starts playing a piano song)

Real reporters should make research instead of copying and paste bs.
MJ was a creepy freak of a man, can’t people just forget about him and move on?
Why did you post then? Also the story was a damn fabrication. Aaron denied knowing about MJ using drugs in that interview.
I believe it is true, but i also believe that magazines only choose to put parts of what was said in the context that they want. Everyone knows that Michael had problems theres no denying that weather it was drugs, children or his own messed up mind that brought on his behaviors he was definitly someone who was not mentally healthy, as for Aaron Carter hes has his own problems which seem to come to light every few years, it was the 90′s when he came out of the woodwork thanks in part to big brother nick and aaron lived a very glamerous life very quickly, i think obviously the topic was brought up because of the fact that its been 2 years and Aaron HOPEFULLY on his long road to sobritey wasnt going to lie about what happened when your a recovering addict do they not teach you to be honest to help fight ur addiction, its all circumstancal and just came at a werid time and makes it look like Aaron is doing something to paint MJ in a negative light when in reality its the tabloids and has been for years.
I don’t believe it. He’s a washed up “singer” with nothing left of a career. He wanted to get himself back into the tabloids.
You said exactly what I was thinking.
I smell a big pile of BS!
This just shows what kind of scum Aaron Carter actually is. It turns out, he’s even worse that we all thought. Not only is Aaron an idiot for trying to tie himself to MJ (despite the fact that I am sure Aaron didn’t even register on Michael’s radar), but OK Magazine had to twist Aaron’s interview to make something out of nothing. What bullshiz.
As I said, it’s bullcrap. Aaron just came out and said he never said Michael gave him drugs. So please, Trent, if you could post a retraction, that’d be awesome.
@SparkleCow, where is it proven? There was NO proof. I think you need to look up the definitions of “proof” and “fact,” and while you’re at it, try looking up the term “evidence.” There was NO proof, NO evidence and no FACTS to show that Michael was a pedophile. Read the court transcripts and other documents instead of tabloid bullcrap.
I couldn’t agree with you more Ashley, for a pre law course I actually read the case files for the 93 case and the “evidence” within the first 20 pages it was obviously bullshit, that is what people need to read the case files
if someone were to read the case files and then say he was guilty i would at least have more respect for their opinion instead of people who just go by that the media says.
Thank you, @di from NYC. People need to read the facts (ie. court transcripts, documents, etc.) and THEN judge for themselves. They can’t go on media gossip alone to form an educated opinion.
Did you know that when it came to the trial in 2005, there was a LOT of crazy stuff going on in court in regards to the extreme contradictions in testimonies and how the stories would change, and the media would mainly only focus on the sensational stuff about what was said, rather than how the crazy stuff was being contradicted left and right by prosecution witnesses. The court transcripts are amazing reads, though they are lengthy, but Mr. Mesereau did an AMAZING job of getting to the heart of things. When it came to the prosecution’s witnesses, a large majority of them were discredited and proven to be disgruntled ex-employees, or, at the very least, people who had a grudge against Michael for one reason or another. It’s absolutely amazing how people were paraded into that courtroom one after another to say these awful, slanderous things about Micahel, only to be made fools of by Mr. Jackson’s attorney.
I remember when it was stated that the 1993 accuser might be testifying, Mr. Meserea had a wholel list of witnesses ready to testify that that very witness had told them that Michael never touched him. Of course, he didn’t have to use those witnesses, because the 1993 accuser, amazingly, refused to testify. The settlement, made against MJ’s protests, by the insurance company, did not prevent the boy from testifying in a criminal trial. No criminal trial was pursued in 1993, and he didn’t want to testify in 2005. If Michael really hurt him, why wouldn’t the boy want Michael behind bars?
The 1993 accuser also emancipated himself from his parents shortly after the settlement was made. Why would he do that? His father tried to kill him in 2005, after the trial.
The boy’s father was also recorded saying that the boy’s welfare in the matter was irrelevant to him, and that he was going to destroy Michael Jackson. Sound like a man who is concerned about abuse his son is suffering from? I don’t think so. They were bogus claims in 1993, they were bogus claims in 2005, and now we know the truth about the Aaron Carter nonsense….BOGUS.
He is just saying that cuz he’s a washed out has-been, if he ever was, who wants the attention without the backlash from Michael and his crew. No one can say otherwise because he’s dead. No harm, no foul right? He just wants to get back in the media any way he knows how, and what a low way to do it. At someone else’s expense that can’t even defend themselves.
ok just thoght of all the stars that i liked wheni was 5and aaron was one of them.ok so we know MJ had some problems, we also know tha aaron has had some problms also. does anyone else that hes not famouse anymore? he waw the justn bieber of 1997-2006 it seems like. as they say what goes up must come down. we all know or should know that drugs are not good for you. if he wants to screw up his life then let him. he has seen what drugs have done to MJ. all he neds to do is relize what be is doing and actually focuse on his life. maybe if he sees the photos of him from when he was younger(and cuter)
