Watch: HBO Releases A Full Length Trailer For ‘True Blood’ Season 4
"It'll heal in 5 minutes, you're a vampire"

For the past few months, we’ve been seeing behind the scenes promo videos for the upcoming 4th season of True Blood debuting on HBO in June. As you may recall, we saw videos that featured Eric Northman, Jason Stackhouse, Bill Compton and more. Today we get our FIRST LOOK at the first full-length trailer for the season … and it looks really fun! Check it out in full below.

Yay! I really love the humor in this trailer. True Blood has always been funny but not nearly as funny as it should be, IMHO. The show is at it’s best when it doesn’t take itself too seriously. I laughed a few times watching this trailer. This is a GREAT sign of what’s to come when True Blood Season 4 premieres on HBO on June 26. What do y’all think? Does TB season 4 look good to you?

Love this show! My only complaint is that there are only 13 or so episodes per season. I wish they would do a full 22 or how ever many episodes are in a full season. Not sure if hbo does full seasons like that or not. We wait so long for The new season to start and then once it does it seems to be over in an instant.

Like Showtime and Starz, a 7-13 episode is considered a full season like how it is in Europe for Skins and Misfits.

I know Dexter has 12 episode, Weeds has 13 episodes and Spartacus has 13 and many others are in the similar range.

I think its perfect because broadcast network seasons that have 22 episodes sometimes have the worst episodes just because they are filler-episodes with little-to-no story progression.

      Exactly what Michael said.

Look at a show like CSI – every episode is the same formula over and over again. And they add a storyline throughout the season but is really only addressed every now then, not week after week.

A free to air network don’t want to run the risk of losing ratings by confusing their viewers. Keep it simple and stick to what works with its formula means ratings. That is why there are a lot of bad shows on those networks, some are enjoyable and good shows, but lack a lot of great quality you get on cable TV.

I would prefer a 12 episode season of True Blood if it means a great storyline than 22 episodes where it drgas on and on and I lose interest.

Relating to the humour: True Blood I don’t believe has ever taken itself so seriously and the way that serious is portrayed is more over-the-top acting, which I would say it done on purpose. It makes fun of B-Grade movies with the gore and the screaming. But yeah, I can’t wait to see Eric get OWNED by a witch.

I love Eric and Sookie together….I have no idea why! I can not wait till this new season starts! But I agree that the season is too short!
