Last weekend we learned the happy news that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon became the proud parents of a healthy set of twin babies. At the time of the announcement, we learned how big the babies were when they were born and at what time they came into the world. The names of the baby girl and boy were not revealed … but according to Mimi herself, the baby names are coming. She teased the baby names on her official Twitter profile yesterday and promised that the full names will be announced soon. Mariah did give the hint that both baby names begin with the letter M.

I contend that the baby names will be revealed when the first photos of the twins appear on the cover of their first magazine. It’s possible that Mariah and Nick plan to hold off on releasing the first baby photos and may reveal the names beforehand but the impact of both the photos and the names being announced at the same time would be huge. So … any guesses that Mr. and Mrs. Cannon named their twin children? Madison and Martin? Molly and Matthew? Megan and Marlon? What are your guesses?
