Earlier today a new viral game for the upcoming sequel film Batman: The Dark Knight Rises was unleashed on Twitter where every tweet that featured the hashtag #thefirerises would help reveal a promo image from the film on the movie’s official website. It took a few hours but the game was completed and the image was revealed … giving us our first official look at Tom Hardy as the Batman villain Bane.

As you may recall, we got our first look at Tom Hardy on the set of The Dark Knight Rises lookin’ all beefy … but he was not necessarily lookin’ in character as Bane. If the viral games are beginning already, I think we have many fun months ahead to look forward to of fun Batman games to play. So … what do YOU think of this first look at Bane?

Glad they’re going for another viral marketing campaign like they did on The Dark Knight. And Tom Hardy is sooo hot. Why can’t we see his face though???
