In mid-March we got to see some (fairly staged) photos of the new cast of Charlie’s Angels — Annie Ilonzeh, Minka Kelly and Rachael Taylor — on the set of their new show. Today we get our first look at the first official promo photo of the Angels that has just been released by ABC to Entertainment Weekly magazine. It’s still unclear what the tone of his new version of Charlies Angel’s will be like (semi-serious like the 70s/80s TV series or obviously comical like the films from the 2000s) but if there’s one thing we can glean from this new promo photo … this new batch of Angels is damn pretty.
As networks prepare to select which pilots are getting series orders, here’s one project that doesn’t have to worry: ABC’s Charlie’s Angels is considered a lock to get a spot on the network’s schedule next season. And here’s a fresh look at Minka Kelly, Annie Ilonzeh and Rachael Taylor from the show (and don’t they look like they’re having fun?).
In all honesty, the 70s TV series revival show that I’m MOST looking forward to this Fall is Wonder Woman … but I really did love watching Charlie’s Angels way back in the day and I LOVED the films that came out in the early 2000s. I’m terribly curious about this new version of Angels so I’ll deffo be tuning in for sure. What do y’all think of this new batch of Angels. Will YOU be tuning in to watch these ladies in action?

But I guess I’ll reserve my total judgement until the show actually starts lol.
They look like models more than Charlie’s Angels. I love Charlie’s and honestly don’t see chemistry on that trio. I hope pictures give the wrong image

is it just me, or they really look like that cartoon trio: Totally Spies?
How can Minka Kelly kick ass with all that hair in her face? How could any of them run in those shoes? The look more like sorority sisters reunited for a fun day of shopping at the dress barn and payless shoes than women on a mission.
ps I am a fan of the Minkster, I liked her on Parenthood so I will be checking this show out!
