Congratulations are in order for Clueless actress Alicia Silverstone because a new report out today from X17 claims that Alicia gave birth to her firstborn child this weekend. According to the report, Alicia gave birth via natural waterbirth here in SoCal on Friday …. meaning she got to enjoy her first Mother’s Day with her 2 day old baby!

Alicia Silverstone had the best Mother’s Day weekend ever … thanks to the birth of her new baby! X17online can report exclusively that Silverstone had a water birth at an LA-area birthing center on Friday. We’ve learned the new mommy is already at home with her little bundle! Throughout her entire pregnancy, the 34-year-old actress has been promoting her new diet book “The Kind Diet” … which follows vegan principle. Silverstone and hubby Christopher Jarecki, 40, confirmed they were expecting their first baby together back in January.

Aww … what a great weekend for new moms! Earlier today we got to see an adorable photo of Alanis Morissette celebrating her first Mother’s Day and we know that Mariah Carey celebrated her first Mother’s Day this weekend with her twin babies Monroe and Moroccan Scott, who were born last weekend … and now we learn that Alicia joined the new moms club just in time for Mother’s Day as well :D I guess it was time for all those pregnant bellies that we’ve been watching for the past few months to pop. Update: People magazine is confirming the news that Alicia Silverstone gave birth but they update by reporting she actually gave birth on Thursday … and she has already named her son!

Alicia Silverstone is a mom! The actress and author, 34, welcomed her first child with husband Christopher Jarecki on Thursday, May 5, her rep tells PEOPLE exclusively. Son Bear Blu Jarecki weighed in at 7 lbs., 15 oz. “Mom and Dad are completely in love” with their “beautiful baby boy,” Silverstone’s rep said in a statement.
