OMG … we are LESS than 24 hours away from the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton — meaning by this time tomorrow, the couple will be married!!! As we move into the final stretch before the wedding takes place in just a few hours, we are getting more information about the wedding ceremony itself. The official Order of Service for the Royal Wedding has been revealed as well as a new portrait of the soon-to-be-wed which was shot by Mario Testino. Click below to see the service program that will be handed out to the lucky wedding attendees early tomorrow morning.

Saying they are deeply touched, Prince William and Kate Middleton thank the public for the “incredibly moving” affection and kindness shown them during their engagement. “We are both so delighted that you are able to join us in celebrating what we hope will be one of the happiest days of our lives,” the couple write in their official wedding program, released Thursday. Their message, signed “William” and “Catherine,” goes on to say: “The affection shown to us by so many people during our engagement has been incredibly moving, and has touched us both deeply. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone most sincerely for their kindness.” The program features a new black-and-white portrait of the couple by famed fashion photographer Mario Testino. Both wear white open-necked shirts and big smiles. Also included in the 28-page program are the details of the Friday’s 11 a.m. wedding service at Westminster Abbey, including what music will be heard. Among the selections: the hymn “Jerusalem” by William Blake and the traditional “Greensleeves.” Such well-known hymns as “Love Divine All Love Excelling” and “Guide Me O Though Great Redeemer” – better known in modern Britain as the Welsh rugby anthem “Bread of Heaven” – are also on the schedule. The bride will walk down the aisle to the choral anthem “I Was Glad” by Sir Charles Hubert Hastings Parry, composed for the coronation of William’s great-great-great grandfather Edward VII at Westminster Abbey in 1902. The program also provides the wording to the couple’s vows. Kate, like Princess Diana in her wedding to Prince Charles in 1981, will not promise to obey her husband. Instead she will vow to “‘love, comfort, honor and keep” William. Because only Kate will wear a wedding ring, only William will say “With this ring I thee wed” as he slips the band on his bride’s finger.

Just in case you cannot be in London for the wedding ceremony or if your inviation was lost in the post, you can still own a digital copy of the official souvenir wedding program. A PDF of the program can be downloaded HERE or a page-turning Flash version HERE (courtesy of the official site of the Royal Wedding) and an Apple iBook version can be downloaded from iTunes HERE … all for FREE!
Can you believe that we are almost at the appointed hour? I knew the months leading up to the Royal Wedding were going to fly by. I am going to try my HARDEST to be awake for the Royal Wedding early tomorrow. The actual service will begin at 3AM here in LA. I have a big Prince concert tonight so … we’ll see. I’m planning on having a live stream embed here on the site so you can watch the Royal Wedding if you happen to be away from your TVs. It’s gonna be a very special day for Wills and Kate … and we’re almost almost there!!!

Today is my two week wedding anniversary! LOL I have wedding fever like whoa! For myself. For the royals. Haven’t slept in weeks. Yours truly, P.C.
I am so pumped…this is going to be good.
So excited. I will be up very, very early to watch this on the east coast!
I think this picture is beautiful :) All this talk about weddings makes me wish I was getting married :(
am I the only one that really just doesn’t care? I mean I’m happy for them and all but no more or less then any other couple. my bff is from Ireland and it’s all she has been talking about for weeks… wake me when it’s over
There are many people in America and the UK who don’t care. It’s all personal preference. I personally am a huge history buff and love things related to the British Monarchy. The pomp and circumstance and deep history is not something we have here in America since we are a relatively “young” country.
I believe that the biggest problem with all this is the fact that the media is going overboard with the thing. I mean. Is it necessary for every single media outlet to dedicate all the time to hype it up? Especially to the Americans. The British Monarch doesn’t mean anything to the USA so why make it seem like they need to care?
Thanks for streaming. I’m in Italy – on purpose to miss all the madness back in the uk – but I’d still like to see her dress :)
You’re awesome, Trent.
i loooooove this picture!! those huge smiles!! they look so happy, natural and down to earth, and kate just looks gorgeous!
I could not possibly care less about this wedding. I think it’s extremely sad that hundreds are dead from the tornadoes yesterday but the top headline is this stupid royal wedding. It’s sick.
Sick of hearing about this wedding. Can’t wait till it’s over.
Thank God. Now I can stop hearing about it.
