Over the weekend, lovebirds Amanda Seyfried and Ryan Phillippe made their way to Paris, France so that the couple could enjoy a romantic getaway (that is, when Ryan isn’t bizzy promoting his new film The Lincoln Lawyer). Yesterday we saw photos of the couple enjoying a fun, touristy date night in Paris and today we get to see photos of the couple hanging out together near the famed Eiffel Tower. Perhaps in an effort to get into the spirit of the city (or mebbe because they hate their lungs), Amanda and Ryan smoked a couple of cigarettes together near the tower … which, IMHO, doesn’t look very cute.
Blech. I am no fan of smoking so it’s a bit disconcerting to see the happy couple puffin’ away on these cigarettes but … well … at least we know they have much in common. Clearly, the couple are very compatible and the fact that they are both smokers prolly helps chances of their staying together. Hopefully, the couple will choose to quit smoking together so that they can live a very long and very healthy and happy life together ;)

Smoking is disgusting. However, I feel for actors who smoke because they are under tremendous pressure to maintain a lower-than-natural body weight to get work.
Not necessarily. There are plenty of actors who are not outrageously thin as they know they are expected to be and I’m pretty sure there’s some that DO NOT smoke for any reason at all. I’m speaking on behalf of not only Hollywood but every person who acts as their profession.
Not necessarily. There are plenty of actors who do not feel the need to give into the pressure of being as thin as expected. And I’m pretty sure they do not smoke regardless. I’m saying this in regards to anyone that acts as a pressure in Hollywood or on stage or wherever.

Ah I agree with you about the smoking thing, definitely the one thing I am not liking in my current stay in Europe. They smoke so much here its crazy. They even smoke in line for museums. I was just at the eiffel tower yesterday, its such a nice place to chill.
I am so disgusted at Amanda smoking…is this a joke or is she trying to impress that skeez dirtbag boyfriend? I thought she was all health conscience??!!! Her reputation is quickly going downhill as far as her making “good descisions” about her career when she is photographed smoking with that loser….c’mon Amanda, you can do better than that!
