‘X-Men: First Class’ Releases A New Promo Photo Of Mystique & Beast
When Raven Darkholme Met Hank McCoy

The official Facebook profile for the upcoming prequel film X-Men: First Class has been updated with a new promo photo from the film. Previously we got to see a photo of the young X-Men character Alex Summers / Havoc but today we get to see a photo of Hank McCoy / Beast (played by Nicholas Hoult) lookin’ awfully chummy with Raven Darkholme / Mystique (played by Jennifer Lawrence).

As you may know, Beast is on Team Professor X (the good guys) and Mystique is on Team Magneto (the bad guys) but it would appear when the superhuman mutants were mere young’ns, they were good friends … and more. Jennifer Lawrence, you may know, won the role of Katniss Everdeen in the upcoming film adaptation of The Hunger Games so it’ll be fun, I think, to see her in this cool role this Spring. I’ve really been impressed with everything I’ve seen of X-Men: First Class thus far. I just hope the movie turns out as good as it looks in these promo materials.

i would be excited for this movie, except there’s one thing that i’m a little confused about. this is supposed to be a prequel to x-Men, right? then why is havoc, who is scott summers’ (cyclops) YOUNGER brother, in it? i mean, is homie even supposed to be alive? unless they try and make alex scott’s dad which would be…inappro, in my opinion. someone clear this up please.

They are taking creative freedom. This should have been Beast, Marvel Girl, Cyclops, Iceman, and Angel. With the way they wrote the other movies they screwed up the chance of the original first class to be filmed.

I LOVE Nicholas Hoult. Dreamy, even if he DOES look like jailbait (though, he is not). Loved him as Tony on “Skins”
