Earlier this week I gushed a bit about my new Nintendo 3DS video game system and after a few days of playing with the amazing device, I kinda hafta gush some more. I continue to be impressed by how much fun the dang thing is. After my late, late night at the Salem show on Tuesday, I was way too wrecked to do anything really constructive yesterday so all I really did was play with my new pet dog and fired bombs at my friends’ faces. See, the Nintendo 3DS really is a marvelous device!

Among the games I’ve been playing with is Nintendogs … which allows me to raise and play with my very own 3D dog (my new French bulldog Frenchie is featured above). Trust me, it’s prolly the closest I’ll get to being a dog owner ever so … it’s a big step for me. I’ve also fallen in love with Face Raiders … an AR game that lets you use your friend’s faces as the enemy … you can see Darion’s face above.
Altho David really isn’t into video games, I made a Mii avatar of him …

… so if you want to zap him into your Nintendo 3DS systems, all you have to do is scan his QR code above and he’ll be in your system.
The weather today is just too outstanding to stay indoors. It’s supposed to be around 90 and sunny today … so I’ll have to get out of the house. It’s almost the weekend again so … I hope y’all have a great one!!

I love everything nintendo. Mario will always be a staple of my childhood memory!
I haven’t actually seen it for myself yet but am relieved that all of the reviews are making it sound like it’s worth getting. I can’t wait to get this thing…rent first though!
@Ryan — the 3D without glasses thing is so cool. it really has to be seen to be believed. try it, i think you’ll love it!
It’s so true! I couldn’t wrap my head around the idea until my boyfriend brought one home the other day. It’s so so SO cool!
The graphics and gameplay are amazing, and if you rent it, you’re going to want to own it. The ONLY thing I found disappointing is the limitations of the friend list. Now that I’ve traded friend codes, I realize there isn’t a whole lot you can do with your friends. Not sure why they included this feature unless they intend to update later on and make it more like XBox so you can actually play games online with them. As it is now, all you can do is see when they’re online and what they’re playing. Oh, and you can broadcast a very short (like 15 character) message. That’s it.
@rOXy — Oh, updates are coming. The device doesn’t even have a fraction of the software updates they’ve got planned. i can’t wait :D
Totes added both QR Codes! I need to make one for me now.
I got the chance to play some demo games on the 3DS at Nintendo World in NYC and it was fun. I don’t have the $ for it now, but I’ll def upgrade from my DSlite in the near future. :)
