When last we checked in with trainwreck father Michael Lohan, he was bizzy saving the lives of both man and animal during a small apartment fire in the building he lives in here in SoCal. Today we check in with Lohan again but this time, he’s the one in danger. Daddy Lohan went to see the doctor about getting his nose fixed and ended up having to be hospitalized for chest pains. Yikes!

Michael Lohan is being rushed to the hospital after experiencing chest pains … TMZ has learned. We’re told Michael was at a doctor’s office in Newport Beach, CA for a consultation about getting his nose fixed — a nose which has been broken several times over the years. Michael began complaining of chest pains, so the nurse took his blood pressure which alarmed her enough to call 911. We’re told his blood pressure was 200/110. Michael is en route to Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach … We’re told Michael needs emergency surgery on a blocked artery and will stay at the hospital overnight.

Wow!! Chest pains like this are no joke so it’s fortunate that Lohan was in a medical setting when this problem was detected. As terrible as his behavior tends to be, I think we should all keep a good thought and send some healing vibes his way for a speedy recovery. Michael Lohan may drive his family (and the rest of us) absolutely insane but I’m sure none of us would wish him ill will. Let’s hope Lohan gets better soon … so he can live on to torment us for years and years to come ;)
