Hide your eyes Bieber fans … cuz these photos are bound to break your little hearts into a million little pieces. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have been hanging out for a few weeks now and this weekend decided to go really, really public when they decided to hit the beach together … on a hand-holding date! If you remember back to Middle School, thinks didn’t get really serious until you held hands with the person you were going out with so … I think it’s safe to say that Justin and Selena are truly boyfriend/girlfriend.
Selena strikes me as a really cute young woman and, well, Biebs is THE most eligible bachelor … erm, under the age of 18. Something about these photos smell of a planned PR stunt. I mean, it’s as if they are ready to show the world how much in LOVE they are with one another. Ah young love … ain’t it grand. And so … we bear witness to the birth of a major tween power couple. Behold, Justena!

To be honest, either way I don’t really care. I’m a fan of Selena-I think she is a very talented young actress and has kept herself grounded(not letting fame or money get to her head). So if she’s happy with him, I say good for them. On the other hand, she seems to be one of those people who like to touch or have physical contact with those near them(it’s not a bad thing, I know a lot of people who do it) So it’s hard to say whether they are actually together or if she is just being her friendly self. I’m sure she is going to get a lot of hate from Bieber fans though.
That being said, Justin needs to get a belt. As I said on the news post-hopefully Selena will be able to talk him into getting a new haircut/hairstyle C:
thier cute together, but..i kinda agree about the PR stunt thing. i dunno, if i remember me at 18, i wasnt looking at any 16 yr olds…no matter how famous. but hey if thier happy then good for them

They totally are together, and it’s for the best, in my opinion, so that they are with someone their own age, going through the same sorts of things as the other is. This way neither of them are in some weird dating situation like Selena dating a 21 year old guy (a la Miley Cyrus), or Justin dating some 14 year old girl. LOL!

Except where Justin Timberlake is actually a talented singer and Justin Bieber is not. I think it’s a little goofy but I do think it’s pretty cute that she still likes boys and doesn’t want some big scruffy man like some of the other girls her age. Though I am starting to wonder about these girls letting go of Taylor Lautner, that’s just not something I would do.
Wow I’m not a Bieber fan, but I do think he’s talented and hard working. They both are. Kinda creepy to see pics of young kids canoodling, but it’s our culture I guess. As long as their parents are both involved it’s safe, no? I mean, their parents have to supervise at some point, we don’t have Dina/Michael on our hands do we?
Holding hands is the least of your problems if you have an 18 and 16 year old dating
i thought he was 17? so that would make him only a year younger than her. so not that big of a deal. also your parents supervised you on dates when you were 17/18? because mine sure didnt and i am doing just fine.

Either way, they look cute together. @Mela – Definitely agree: they are the new Justin & Britney. @nicole – when I was 18, I wasn’t looking at any younger guys either, that’s for sure ;) But Selena appears so innocent and sweet that a younger guy is probably more suited for her.

I feel old and creepy reading this. I don’t even really know who Justin Beiber/Bieber is. Hanson was (and still is for me) the most adorably talented male specimen. Can’t believe that was like 15 years ago.
