Well, well now … what have we here? Could it be that Country/Pop star Taylor Swift has found new love with Glee actor Chord Overstreet? As you may recall, earlier this week, Taylor returned home to SoCal after successfully completing an Asian tour … and it looks like she’s gotten right back into the dating pool. Taylor‘s last dalliance was with Jake Gyllenhaal (a pairing I never understood or liked) but this pairing with Chord seems pretty perfect to me.
These photos of Taylor and Chord were snapped at the Staples Center in LA at the Minnesota Wild vs. Los Angeles Kings hockey game (the Kings won 4-2, btw). It’s prolly far too early to consider these two an actual couple (Overswift? Swiftstreet? Taylord?) just yet but this is definitely a paring that I could support. Chord seems like a fine young man … cute … age appropriate … perfect for Taylor. Who knows, this hockey game hang-out session could turn out to be more. I fully endorse this coupling and I hope to see more of Taylord Overswift out and about together :D

It’s amusing that people are getting so upset over ‘who she is dating’ when we don’t even really know if she is dating anyone right now. People of opposite genders CAN be friends, and go to public events, without dating. It’s possible. Taylor is a hopeless romantic, that much is for sure, but she seems like she can also survive without being in a relationship.
As for her songs being popular, pretty sure they are popular because everyone can relate with all things tied into love. Heart break, finding one’s true love-it’s all something someone can relate to, or something they want to relate to. I think she has a way with words, when I need to be in a mushy mind zone for my writing-her songs are something I will turn to in order to get me there.
-laughs-I don’t understand the hate for her, she’s a young girl, let her test the waters(Also at least she only ‘dates’ one guy at a time, and not multiple guys at the same time) Sorry for the mini rant C: I’ve been seeing so much hate for Taylor lately and for no apparent reason either.

I just find it kinda weird that her mom is also there. You can’t go on dates with your mom as a 21 year old. How uncomfortable is that for a guy?

poor girl can’t hang out with any guy without people speculating a “date”. i’m beginning to feel very lucky that i almost only hang out with guys and don’t have to worry about anyone thinking we’re on a date.
It’s the same for “normal” people. If you go out with a new guy just to hang out, some people will automatically assume it’s a date. Just the way it is.
Is it just me or does Taylor look extremely tired…bags under her eyes…the whole nine yards??? And as for her dating life, it seems to me now that she is dating these guys so she can write her next big hit. Male celeb hotties better watch their backs.

Side Note: People always seem to comment on the fact that Taylor unabashedly uses exes for inspiration for songs. First of all, she is an artist, isn’t that what they are supposed to do? Be inspired artistically by events in their lives and relate to the public through that?
Also, what a great way to weed out the douchebags. Hopefully a guy that likes her wouldn’t be scared of what she might write about them because their intentions would be good from the beginning. If they really have to worry about ending up in a song then she probably is better off withouth them.

Finally she’s struck gold! After trying a fit with other boys that just didn’t seem to work (Taylor Launter, Jake Gyllenhaal) I think she’s found someone who seems like a perfect match for her! They look very cute together! I love it. I hope they last.

I honestly don’t care who she’s dating. But seriously, I can see it now, another relationship gone bad that she thinks she has to write and sing about. It’s happened before. I think she just does it so people will feel sorry for her. And that is not good PR if you ask me. But oh well, it’s her life not mine. If she wants to make herself look bad by constantly putting past boyfriends under fire in her music, then that’s perfectly fine with me. Karma will show it’s ugly face sooner or later.

I vote for Swiftstreet. It’s a fairly short ride, it’s only one-way though two lanes, and it’s very straight with no curves. That said, I think they “look” adorable.

Something strange about Taylor always winding up with hot guys – hot guy who, in many cases, desperately need publicity to pump up their careers. Hope she’s having a great time because I personally (my opinion only) think she’s being used.
