‘Scream 4′ Releases A Newer Movie Poster
4, Get It

In April of last year, we got our first look at the first teaser poster for Scream 4. Today, with under 3 months to go until the film gets released in theaters, we get our first look at the latest Scream 4 poster artwork.

Fans of the Scream film franchise will recognize that this new poster follows the trend that posters for the previous film followed. To be honest, I’m not too crazy about this poster artwork, mainly because the 4 doesn’t work as well as it should. Still, I am very excited that we are so near the film’s release. I understand production of Scream 4 has gone back to Northville, Michigan to do some reshoots … which means that they’ll be going down to the wire to get the film out on time. As for this poster, what do y’all think? Do you like it?

I love this poster! However, I am not a fan of how the “4″ is shaped… it should look like an actual “4″ instead of that line missing, but whatevs. I dig it like a shovel nonetheless, bro.

  2. Iloveromy says:

It’s not the shape of the 4 that is the problem. It’s the cartooniness of the face.

  3. Adam H says:

I like the poster and I like how it following the original Scream movies. I am happy to see the trends that work continued. If it is not broke do not fix it.

  4. Vicky says:

That’s how we write 4s in France, I think it’s a European thing.

  5. CHASE says:

I write my fours like that as well and I live in the US but it looks like the same font as the “Friday the 13th” movies. It just looks awkward as a poster in my opinionooooooooo.

Thats Gotta be Neve Campbell’s face? no? So excited..

  7. jake says:

Not crazy about this poster because it’s such a retread of the Scream 3 teaser poster.

The Scream 2 poster had Courteney and Neve, but I believe the first one was supposed to be Drew.
