Photos Of Jake Gyllenhaal’s Nashville Dinner With Taylor Swift Hit The Internets

Last Friday we learned that Jake Gyllenhaal flew to Nashville, TN to have a semi-quiet dinner with ex-whatever Taylor Swift at a place called Bound’ry. Today, we get to see clandestinely snapped photos of the pair as they made their way into the eatery.
It’s interesting … even when the couple tries to meet in secret they *still* manage to get photographed … isn’t that so weird? To be honest, I really hope this is the last time we’ll see these two out and about together. This little whatever it is that they are doing is just silly.

Not to state the obvious or anything, but that’s not really your decision. I get that you have a huge crush on him and everything, but I mean, really, how would you like it if a complete stranger told you that you and your significant other just need to stop seeing each other because “what you’re doing is just silly”? And I don’t find the fact that they are photograph together at all strange. I mean Jake can blend, but there is no blending Taylor, especially in Nashville, with that blonde hair and those long legs. The girl stands out. Whatever the reason, they are together and whether or not they’re dating or just friends, doesn’t really matter. If he likes her, then he likes her. Besides, it kind of looks like he can’t stay away from the girl…

Despite Taylor having “long legs”, this relationship has no legs. Look at the distance between them! She has her hands in her pockets and Jake isn’t even looking at her. Nothing going on here. I think Jake was being a nice guy and met with her to give her some closure. Perhaps making good on a “we can be friends” promise. Definitely not a “significant other”. She’s too silly for him.
Not every couple is in constant physical contact all the time.
Walking around in each others arms doesnt always equal happy.
Body language says a lot. These two are not a couple. Even though happy couples don’t necessarily hang on eachother all the time, they normally don’t have the distance of a football field between them when they are out on a date (if that’s what you could call it when these two grabbed a bite to eat). Happy couples look at eachother and even smile when they speak to eachother….from the looks of it, these two weren’t even chatting.
It’s TWO pictures. You can’t judge an entire relationship (weather there is one or not) on just two pictures.
You can’t even judge what they were doing right that moment other than walking.
There is no football field between. Any closer and they’d be hanging on each other. Which you claim is fine if they dont. From where they are they could comfortably be holding hands.
If people feel that two people need to be cuddled up together with giant doofy smiles on their faces on every walk from or two the car then they seriously need to get a relationship that is based in reality.

OH Please! This is Trent’s site and he can have his opinion. With that said I agree with others it is all in the body language. I think Jake met with her to give her closure. Especially, after his comments after the break-up (if he really said those things) but, I know he said something about the age difference.

I’d like to state, for the record, that I HEART Trent’s take on this couple. I don’t want my sarcasm to be misinterpreted. I guess I was only trying to poke fun at the seriousness of the “you have no control over them” comment.

@Elissa, where in Trent’s post did he say that? I think you’re misinterpreting the whole thing. He merely implied that he HOPED they aren’t seeing each other again, (an opinion shared by the majority judging from the comments left all over the internet about these two) not that they “need to stop seeing each other” as you incorrectly stated. Truth is, the way this relationship has been portrayed in the tabloids every week, it’s not difficult to understand why it looks silly. That’s not to say that what they have isn’t real but it’s easy for people to be sceptical judging from how this is being rolled out to the media.

News flash Elissa…even regular couples face adversity and other people who tell them that they shouldn’t be together. If you really care about each other you shrug it off, it’s part of being an adult and DEFINITELY part of being a celebrity. They should both be used to this when they are consistently in high-profile relationships. Trent’s not anymore out of line by saying he doesn’t think that they should be together than you are for saying Jake obviously can’t stay away from the girl. You really have NO idea what prompted him to fly to Nashville and hang out with her. Maybe she pulled the old “I think I might be pregnant” card just to get his attention.
I wondered if this was really Jake. I thought he shaved recently and this guy looks to have a beard?
