Michael Lohan Saves A Dog From A Burning Building
To The Rescue

It turns out that Michael Lohan is actually good for something. Last night, his apartment complex caught fire and Lohan‘s inner hero awoke with enough strength to break thru a glass case — with his bare hands — to gain access to a fire extinguisher! AND, he saved his dog from the deadly flames!! Unsurprisingly, Lohan made himself available to TMZ cameras for interviews as the building smoldered behind him but … yeah, can you believe he actually did something semi-marginally heroic?

It’s like a scene out of “Backdraft” … only not really. Michael Lohan heroically broke through a glass fire extinguisher case with his bare hands to help put out a fire in his apartment building. It happened last night at the West Hollywood apartment building of Lindsay Lohan’s daddy. Michael tells us he noticed the smoke in the early evening, walked outside and saw smoke. He then ran to the extinguisher case, broke through it, cutting his hand … then ran to the neighbor’s apartment to help douse the flames. It’s good to see Michael finally come to someone’s rescue.

Michael Lohan: Hero. Those are words I never thought I’d use in the same sentence. Well, I guess we gotta give the guy credit for putting his own safety aside to help out others in need. Lohan actually spilled his blood in aiding his fellow man. Color me impressed. Well, ok, not really but … it sure makes for one helluva weird story, don’t it?

Only Michael Lohan can save a puppy from a burning building and still make me think he’s a douche.

  2. JRad says:

He’ll be bringing this up for the next decade.

Trent I know how you feel about Michael Lohan and I’m not saying I don’t feel the same way. I just feel like your jabs at him in this story were distasteful. He’s a man who did a great thing last night.

P.S. If I saved a dog from a burning building I’d want to talk to TMZ about it too ;)

  4. Katie says:

Knowing him, he probably purposely started the fire himself and planned to ‘save’ the dog all along. Next thing you know we’re going to be hearing of Dina Lohan rescuing a herd of elephants from the zoo that was supposedly set on fire.

umm… isnt it only NORMAL that he got his own dog out of his own burning appartment? im sure its only a matter of time amf we will learn that the appartment went on fire because of his own fault….
    semi-marginally heroic? really? thats laughable.

JORDAN RICE is a true HERO. michael lohan… lohan who?

OMG! If you choose to find fault with someone, you can always do so… in this case, IMHO, he was motivated by a true heart feeling to save another being…you guys seem so set on finding the negative in someone…if that makes you feel better about yourself then great! good for you! How about opening yourself to Grace and allowing for the possibility that he was moved by love and selflessness to save the dog….it must take a lot of effort to be so filled with hate for another person (he is no more flawed than we all are)

  8. Sarah says:

He probably started the fire so he could “save” his dog and be a “hero”.

  9. Tony says:

Funny thing is…he was wearing the exact same outfit the night before when I bumped into him at Saddle Ranch in West Hollywood.

  10. perdiz says:

um its HIS dog. i would do anything to save MY animals from a fire. if he had saved the little old lady or even the little old lady’s dog that would have been a selfless act. but saving your own animals is not really that heroic. its kinda expected. your really kinda a mega douche if you leave your own animal to die…..
