On Wednesday we got our first look at Twilight star Taylor Lautner in a new promo photo from his new film Abduction (his first post-Twilight film) and today we get to check out a second promo photo from the film that also features Lautner‘s co-star Lily Collins.

Earlier this week, we got our first look at Taylor Lautner in his latest headlining film, Abduction. This time the actor doesn’t have to share screentime with Robert Pattinson, and at the end of the day he gets the girl. A couple new photos have been released in promotion of the film including one that features the female lead Lily Collins … It looks like Lautner will spend the majority of this film in flight, running from cars, bullets, and knives … Abduction centers on a youth who discovers the parents who raised him aren’t his real folks, a revelation that triggers events and leaves him running for his life. The film co-stars Sigourney Weaver, Alfred Molina, Elisabeth Rohm, and is directed by John Singleton. Yes, Boyz in the Hood John Singleton has directed a Taylor Lautner movie. Abduction is scheduled to hit theaters on September 23, 2011.

As I said before, I’m actually intrigued by the premise of this film and I am encouraged that Taylor will be starring with the likes of Sigourney Weaver and Michael Nyqvist. I think it also bodes well for the film that it is being directed by John Singleton … and Miss Lily Collins looks like a cute enough co-star. I think I’d like to check out this movie when it hits theaters this Fall. Anyone want to come with?
