Back in November, we got to see photos and video of Teddy Montgomery (played by Trevor Donovan) gettin’ all same-sex smoochy with new boyfriend Ian (played by Kyle Riabko) on the CW TV series 90210. Last month, we learned that Teddy will be getting a new boyfriend (played by Freddie Smith) in the second half of the season … but NOT before he hooks up with an even newer dude played by Alan Ritchson (Smallville, Blue Mountain State). Um, for a character who just came out as gay, homeboy is getting a helluva lotta play.

Weeks after we reported that newcomer Freddie Smith is boarding the CW sudser as Teddy’s next beau, Marco, TVLine has learned exclusively that Smallville alum Alan Ritchson will get his hands on the tennis pro first. In this season’s 18th episode, Ritchson will play Tripp, a former prep school roommate that Teddy (Trevor Donovan) privately crushed on back in the day. The set-up for the hook-up: It’s Spring Break when the onetime BFFs bump into each other. As Tripp recounts Teddy’s prep school rep as quite the ladykiller, things take a very interesting turn when Teddy comes out to his presumably straight pal. One unexpected lip-lock leads to another… and then that leads to a surprising reveal.

Thank YOU sweet baby Jebus for this bounty. I do not know what we mere mortals did to deserve such AMAZINGNESS but I will be FOREVER grateful. Not only is Trevor Donovan the hottest guy on 90210 but the thought of him hooking up on the show with an equally hot guy like Alan Ritchson is just … too much for my little brain to handle. I know I have professed my love for 90210 before but, man, nothing could possibly make me love the show more. Trevor‘s Teddy and Alan‘s Tripp are going to provide us ALL ample (and SUPERHOT) entertainment … and I cannot WAIT!!!!!
