Last month we got our first look at the first movie trailer for the Tarsem Singh directed Snow White film Mirror Mirror. Today we get our first look at the first movie posters for the film. One poster features both Snow White (played by Lily Collins) and the Evil Queen (played by Julia Roberts) and the second poster features the Queen all by herself. Check out both posters below.
Relativity Media has revealed two posters for Tarsem Singh’s Mirror Mirror, starring Julia Roberts as the Queen, Lily Collins as Snow White, Armie Hammer as Prince Alcott, Sean Bean as the King and Nathan Lane as the Queen’s hapless and bungling servant, Brighton. In the March 16 release, wicked enchantress (Roberts) schemes and scrambles for control of a spirited orphan’s (Collins) throne and the attention of a charming prince (Hammer). When Snow White’s beauty wins the heart of the prince that she desperately pursues, the Queen banishes her to the forest, where a ravening man-eating beast hungrily awaits. Rescued by a band of diminutive highway robbers, Snow White grows into an indomitable young woman determined to take back her realm from the treacherous Queen.
Blah. I hate to say it but … the more I see from this film, the less I like it. I really love Singh‘s work but I am not really feeling anything about this Snow White film of his. To be fair, we really haven’t seen much to base an opinion on but … I was really hoping to just love this film so much. We shall see how it turns out but thus far, unfortunately, I remain unimpressed :/

I LOVE Julia Roberts – but this just doesn’t seem like a good fit for me. I just can’t imagine her as the Evil Queen. But, I guess we will just have to wait and see. It definitely doesn’t help that a similar movie is coming out with Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen – because it appears from the trailer as though she NAILS it!!
The more I see, the cheesier it seems. I always liked the idea behind the other Snow White film better and from what I have seen of the two movies I am definitely more likely to go see the other one.
Yea, i have no interest in seeing it until it comes out on DVD. Doesn’t seem worth 11 dollars.
