Rosie O’Donnell & Michelle Rounds Are Gettin’ Hitched!

Comedienne/Actress/Talk Show host Rosie O’Donnell is getting married! After breaking up with her previous girlfriend Tracy Kachtick-Anders back in February, Rosie met and fell in love with a woman named Michelle Rounds. Today we learn that Rosie broke the happy news of the couple’s engagement on her new TV show The Rosie Show and announced that the pair will be married by Xmas. HMMM … she sure does move fast, don’t she? Met, engaged and married in under a year? Someone’s … in a hurry?

Going to the chapel! Rosie O’Donnell is engaged to partner Michelle Rounds. A source confirms to Us Weekly that the 49-year-old comedian told her Rosie Show studio audience Friday that she and Rounds will say “I do” over Christmas. O’Donnell and Rounds, a New York City headhunter, made their public debut as a couple in September at Rosie Theater Kids Gala in New York City. A show source tells Us Rounds “is very attractive and friendly. Rosie was really proud and showing her off… They seem really happy.” O’Donnell has four children with ex-wife Kelli Carpenter, whom she married in 2007. They split three years later. O’Donnell dated mother of six Tracy Kachtick-Anders for one year before calling it quits last winter.

I’m not sure I understand what the big hurry is but … I suppose when love comes a’callin’, you gotta heed that call. Michelle looks like a lovely person and I’m certain that Rosie is head over heels in love with her. I would hope that these two are not rushing into anything for any other reason than they are MADLY in love and desperate to be married. I wish the couple all the best in the world for a long and happy marriage. Let’s send Rosie and Michelle all our love and congrats today.
