Back in April we learned the happy news that Kristin Cavallari and footballer Jay Cutler got themselves engaged to be wed. In the weeks that followed, we heard all about the couple’s plans for a lavish 2012 wedding. Those happy reports came to an abrupt end in July when it was reported that the engagement was off due to Jay‘s dumping of Kristin. Today I am happy to report that the couple are re-engaged to be married … at least according to Life & Style magazine. So, I suppose, congrats are re-in order for the re-happy couple.

After calling off his three-month engagement to Kristin on July 23, Life & Style can exclusively reveal that Jay has proposed for the second time—and Kristin has accepted! “Kristin is over the moon with happiness,” a source tells Life & Style. “She’s already told her friends that the engagement is back on. They haven’t set a new date yet.” As Life & Style previously reported, after a whirlwind 10-month romance with The Hills star, 24, Jay, 28, abruptly ended the relationship when Kristin put work before plans with the Chicago Bears quarterback. Kristin, who had been excitedly planning her dream wedding, which was set for summer 2012, was left heartbroken. The pair then rekindled their romance when Kristin began competing on Dancing With the Stars in September.
HMMM … while I am happy to hear this news, I think I shall reserve my congrats until we hear something more official from the couple. As you may recall, L&S published photos of Kristin modeling wedding dresses mere MOMENTS after her engagement was called off. Methinks the magazine is just hoping that the couple are planning to marry again since they have remained friendly and relatively together since the “split”. If the couple are smart, and they really want to make it down the aisle, they will decide not to flaunt their wedding and just do it. Here’s hoping for the best. I’d love to see KC get herself hitched ;)

LOL…I hope it works out for them! I still think she is too young to get married. She just seems like she isn’t quite ready to start the boring housewife faze just yet. What better way to spend the holidays but in the arms of your lover so congrats if it is true:)!!
At least there’s some good Jay Cutler news today, I suppose, given the fact that his season might be over due to a broken thumb. Congrats, once again, to both of them!
Actually I think Kristin has settled down a lot since her Laguna and The Hills days. I would love if they were engaged. I love Kristin :) Jay probably decided to propose again bc his season is now over lol.
