Lindsay Lohan Sentenced To 30 Days In Jail For Probation Violation

A couple of weeks ago, Lindsay Lohan appeared in court to answer claims that she was in violation of satisfying her court-ordered probation requirements and at the time the ruling judge found enough proof that she was, indeed, in violation of her probation terms … resulting in another arrest and court date for trainwreck Lindsay. Today, Lindsay showed up for that court date in order to throw herself at the mercy of the court. She admitted that she violated probation in order to find out her new punishment. Judge Stephanie Sautner sentenced her to 30 days in jail (NO house arrest) and laid down a series of court-ordered community service hours and therapy sessions. It’s a laundry list of requirements that MUST be satisfied to the letter … if she messes up just once, she will be sent immediately to jail. Will Lindsay FINALLY be able to do the right thing and serve out her punishment to the court’s satisfaction? I guess we shall see. Click below for all the deets about what went down in court this morning.

Lindsay Lohan will serve 30 days in jail, and the judge is holding her on a tight leash to make sure she completes her probation. Lindsay admitted she violated her probation by not attending therapy sessions as required by the court and by getting kicked out of the Downtown Women’s Center. The judge now says ALL of Lindsay’s community service must now be served at the L.A. County Morgue. And the judge gave Lindsay a tight structure on how she must complete the rest of her probation, and if she doesn’t the judge will put a warrant out for her arrest and sentence her to an additional 270 days in jail. As for the 30 days Lindsay is getting now — the judge made it clear … NO HOUSE ARREST. The Sheriff’s Dept. tells us Lindsay will serve 20% of the 30 days — 6 days in jail. Judge Stephanie Sautner gave Lindsay a strict schedule on completing the rest of her probation — by December 14, she must have completed 12 days at the morgue and 4 psychotherapy sessions. By January 17, another 12 days at morgue and 4 psychotherapy sessions. And so on. Everything must be completed by March 29 — or she goes directly to jail for 270 days. The judge clearly thinks Lindsay needs a rigid structure to complete her sentence, and as the judge put it, Lindsay is holding the keys to the jail cell. And the judge strongly suggested Lindsay stop tweeting about her experiences at the morgue. At the end, Lindsay seemed happy, walking out of court saying, “Thank God,” under her breath. Sources in the courtroom tell us that when the judge got off the bench she remarked about Lindsay, “She looks good today.”

SO … after Lindsay serves her 6 days in jail (which will very likely turn out to be 6 minutes), she will be on a strict regimen of community service hours and therapy sessions from month to month to month all the way up to next March. She now has the chance to complete all the hours required of her and finally be done with THIS punishment. She’ll be doing all of her community service hours at the LA County Morgue because the women’s shelter she was assigned to before doesn’t want her back. I’d like to believe that she is capable of following the judge’s orders and satisfy her probation requirements but … yeah, it seems unlikely. On the positive side, Lindsay did look better today so if this is the first day of a fresh new outlook on her life, she has a chance of saving herself. I remain skeptical but, as always, hope springs eternal. Lindsay has to turn herself in to jail next week (TMZ reports the judge gave her a week to turn herself in so she can finish her Playboy magazine shoot), serve out her sentence (about 6 minutes) and then get to work on serving out her punishment. Can she do it? We shall see.

    Witnessing her life is exhausting.

Seriously. She makes me so happy to be living a quiet, law-abiding life.

So she has to do like 50 days at morgue before the end of March. Now, that would take a regular person an entire year if they could only perform their community service on Saturday due to having a normal 9-5 M-F job. And the 30 days in jail? I can’t imagine that a normal person wouldn’t be fired on the spot for having to take a leave of absence to go to jail, even if they only had to serve 20% of their time ala Lohan. She just isn’t feeling the same repercussions that the rest of us would feel.

I was totally thinking that. With all of the chances she’s had to fulfill community service, counseling, and classes – if any of us had to do these things, it would get done despite having to work EVERYDAY to make a living. There’s no excuse for her not completing her required hours. I don’t think she has any perception of how easy she’s had it, and that ALL of this could have been done ages ago if she would just complete the work assigned to her … but then, I’m preaching to the choir.

Wow, if she’d just do her probation she’d be done already. Of course, she’d be out of the spotlight – there would be no other reason to report anything she does! I wish she would get her stuff together but if not, I wish she’d do a crime in a state with no overcrowding so she’d learn some consequences!

ok… lemme get this straight. she’s had how many DUI’s, allegedly stole a $2500 necklace, and has violated her probation on multiple occasions (including recently) and she’s getting SIX DAYS IN JAIL?!?!?!?!?!!! i understand that there is an overcrowding issue an’ all, but why not release a non-violent jailbird and make room for the lohan?? a homeless man got 15 YEARS in prison for stealing $100 and only got arrested because he felt bad about it and turned himself in…

what thee eff is up with our justice system?! i’m calling BULLSH*T!!! people have gone to jail and/or prison for much less than this joke. this chick is never going to learn. smh.

    • Candice

Nope, they are already saying the 6 days is not valid – because of overcrowding all prisoners with less than 90 days with nonviolent crimes get processed and released.

I wonder if she goes stealing, I’m mean shopping, with a thought in mind, “these would do well for court”

    • Jstar

      100% agree

  • c-word

on a side note, i will admit that i LOVE her shoes! ;)

  • Candy

Judging by her past behavior, I don’t think she’s going to get this done either & will be going to jail for 270 days… which I think would be the best thing for her!! Keep giving her special treatment & she will keep f-ing up, no question.

  • Mr. Gyllenhaal

I don’t think that the dress is very flattering and her hair is gross.

    • Lacey

I agree….her chest looks so awful because of the high neck. And that double chin….oh boy. Girl is looking puffy.

  • solidrighthook

    Like I said, exhausting.

  • Jill

What did she do that the women’s center didn’t want her back? I hadn’t heard about that before…..

I am starting to sound like a broken record when it comes to Lindsey Lohan, but she really needs to get the Robert Downey, Jr. treatment if there is any hope she is going to turn things around. Sentence her to a year and stick to it, or she is going to end up in the morgue.
