Many people may assume that Michael Jackson‘s children will go into the music biz when they grow up but one of them may eventually grow up to be a professional sports athlete. Paris Michael Katherine is a member of her school’s flag football team and, as I understand it, she’s got mad skillz. Click below to see some photos of Paris in action on the football field of glory.

The daughter of the late Michael Jackson was seen showing off her skills on the pitch earlier today playing flag football. Paris, 13, is the only girl on the team and was playing for her team at her Los Angeles private school. While Paris played just as tough as any of the other boys, her brothers Prince and Blanket were on the sidelines cheering on their sister. And it appears that the King of Pop’s daughter’s effort paid off and her team had a convincing win. Paris tweeted: ‘We Won 32-6!!!!!!!! Yeahhh Boiiiiii!!! #Leggo’
Awww … I love this so much. Good for Paris. Just the mere fact that she likes to play football will inspire others not only to want to play themselves but will shed attention on the matter of women in men’s professional sports. This young girl is no different from the countless other young girls who love to play “boys sports”. Maybe Paris can affect real change in sports gender boundaries by just being herself. I LOVE how well she handles the little pip squeak boy in the photo above. Paris Jackson is my hero!

That poor little boy in blue didn’t look like he stood a chance! She’s got a good couple inches on him.
I dunno…look how much his knees are bent. I bet they’re the same size.
Wtf is up with blankets hair…as if these kids dont have enough to overcome
What’s wrong with his hair? He’s keeping it long in memory of his father. There’s nothing wrong with that OR with a little boy having long hair.
yea he is :) he wants to keep it long for MJ, KJ said so in interview on YT , KJ talks about blanket
I love that she not only wants to play “boy sports”, but the school allows it. That is so great!
I do have concerns about paparazzi taking pictures of little kids playing sports, though. She deserves privacy, as do the kids she is playing against.
And I gotta say, Trent, I think you are super sweet, but it is kind of mean to call the kid a “pip squeak”. He is a real person, and that is kind of humiliating him for no reason. Kids at his school could easily read that.
I’m just glad she’s outside, with other kids, playing, having a blast, and tweeting up a storm like a normal kid. Although I think it’s super creepy that she’s being followed (both in person and on twitter).
I love Blanket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG ME TOO!!!!!!!!! He’s the cutest kid ever!!
I’m so glad that these kids are able to mix with other children and are having what appears to be some sort of “normal” life. I used to worry that they’d end up weirdos like their father (rest his soul) with all of the masks and disguises they used to wear. Maybe their father’s death was a small blessing in that they are now able to be “normal kids”.
what a horrible thing to say. How are these kids going to have a “normal” life when their father, their only parent, the one that raised them 24/7, is dead..and they had to see it? He wasnt a weirdo by choice. He was made that way by the media, who hounded him like a dog for 25+ years to the point that he couldnt go anywhere or do anything…and if you paid attention you would know they understood what the masks were for, so that when they went out with people not their dad, no one would know who they were so they could do things.
Saying someone’s parents death is a small blessing is disgusting
Angry much? Listen, I’m not happy the man is dead and I do feel for those children that they’ve lost their father. However, whichever way you look at it, MJ was a drug addict and those children obviously saw their father in this state many times. No way for children to have to live, no matter who the parent is. He WAS weird, there is no denying that fact. And those kids really didn’t stand a chance of having any semblance of normalcy, no matter how much they loved him or he they. Never mixing with other children (other than cousins who are also from apparent dysfunctional families). And yes, I paid attention. Wearing those masks made them stand out all the more. They don’t wear them now do they and they “do things”.
My statement is not disgusting, but honest. Again, I’m sorry MJ died…I was truly upset when this happened. And I’m so sorry for these children who have lost their father and only parent. But, who knows how they would have turned out with a drug addled father and really no idea about the real world.
What terrible things to say. These kids have spoken wonderfully about their father, and the fact that they are so normal and well-spoken is a credit to their father. He did the best he could given the circumstances surrounding his fame. He kept their faces out of the spotlight, and barely anybody knew what they looked like except for a few grainy paparazzi shots until he died.
He did what he had to do, and he tried to give them as private lives as possible. The kids themselves spoke about how when their father was alive, they could go out without him and without the masks and not be recognized. I think that’s a great thing.
There are plenty of photos of the kids doing NORMAL things when Michael was alive. They had friends, they did things other kids get to do. People just didn’t know what they looked like because Michael kept them shielded, and that’s not a bad thing. Now look…every time a post is made about them, you have people shallowly talking abou their looks and speculating over their paternity.
I’m sure the kids would much rather have their father back than anything else. How you could say a loving father’s death was a small blessing is absolutely disgusting.
Angry much? Listen, I’m sorry the man is dead. It was an awful tragedy which changed the lives of his children forever. However, whichever way you look at it, MJ was a drug addict. It’s obvious his children saw him in this state, probably many times. And that is no way for children to live, no matter who their parent is. MJ WAS weird. No denying that, and you can’t blame the media for that. There are many other famous people who aren’t weird, he was his own worst enemy. I did pay attention. Those children don’t wear those masks now do they. And they still get to “do stuff” without too much hassle. At least, no more than any other celebrity children. I am extremely sorry that they don’t have their father anymore, but one does have to wonder how they’d have turned out with a drug addicted father and no real idea of the real world. Now they get to go to school and do the same things other kids do. Something that didn’t happen before. Again, I’m sorry that MJ is dead, but I stand by my statement. It’s not disgusting, but honest. Sorry if that offends you, but that’s how it is.
There is ZERO proof that Michael was an addict at his death. The only drugs in his system at death were what the doctor gave him. So if Michael was an addict, then Conrad Murray was his dealer, and that is just as bad.
The kids have always been normal. There are tons of pictures of the kids over the years with their dad and with friends doing normal things. Just because Michael had problems, which MANY PEOPLE DO, does not mean he was a monster or a horrible father. I believe he lived for those kids.
He had the entire world watching him, waiting to say something bad about him or his kids, so he shielded them the best he could. For you to make all of these assumptions about the kids’ lives with thier dad is really wrong, because you weren’t there.
And yes, it IS disgusting to say three kids are better off without a father that loved them very much and who they loved very much.
Michael was a human being and he was flawed. But I’m sure you have your flaws too. How would you like it if YOU had kids, and because you are flawed, somebody said your kids would be better off without you? Get off your high horse for a minute and think about the fact that Michael’s three kids that loved him very much are human beings too, and they have feelings.
anybody else notice she’s wearing MJs fave #7
