It’s been a few minutes since Lindsay Lohan‘s estranged father Michael Lohan chimed in to comment publicly on his daughter’s woes but her recent legal shenanigans have pulled him back into the spotlight so he can offer his $0.02. Speaking to Headline News, Daddy Lohan claims to know the reason why Lindsay‘s life is spiraling out of control. Last week, we saw photos of Lindsay showing off a set of horribly rotted front teeth and Michael Lohan claims he knows the cause of her damaged teeth. According to him, Lindsay is either “smoking crack or meth” … one or the other.
Lohan’s estranged father claims he knows what’s to blame for her latest spate of problems. “That’s from smoking a pipe with meth or crack. She’s smoking either crack or meth, one or the other. I’m not going to shade it,” Michael Lohan said on HLN Wednesday. He was reacting not just to Lohan’s Wednesday probation revocation but also to a recent photo in which the 25-year-old actress’ teeth appeared to be decaying. “If you’re talking about prescription medication it would affect all your teeth, not just your two front teeth,” he said, adding, “You can’t dance with the devil and expect to go home with Jesus.” Steve Honig, Lohan’s publicist declined to comment on Michael Lohan’s claims.
Wow. I can’t say that I agree with Michael Lohan on much but … he may be on to something here. It’s no secret that Michael is estranged from his daughter and probably has no direct insight to her personal life these days but I don’t think anyone can argue that Lindsay doesn’t look terrible. Teeth as damaged as hers have been known to be caused by meth or crack use. Ugh, THIS IS SOOO SAD. I can’t even anymore … I hope someone helps Lindsay save her own life … before it’s too late.

I completely agree though, these look like meth or crack teeth to me. The front teeth are the most affected by chemicals etc from smoking etc. Did they stop drug testing her? She’s just a pathetic mess now. It’s so sad, because I just watched The Parent Trap with my kids and she was adorable and talented. So much promise wasted. I definitely blame her parents. Child stars that have a good family/support system survive and thrive much better than those w/the type of family Lindsay has.
I also watched The Parent Trap few days ago (except I’m the child, I’m not a mom yet haha) and thought the exact same thing. She was so cute, pretty and talented. What a waste…

Why does everyone target Michael when her mother is just as shitty in her own right? I mean, I agree that he’s a scumbag but at least he doesn’t sugarcoat the problems in his daughters life. This girl needs a serious wake-up call.
Probably because he beat her mother in front of her and her siblings when she was growing up, went to prison, and spends all of his time alternately trashing her family, her mother, and herself. Dina is terrible, but Michael is WAY worse and I think he’s responsible for most of the problems with her upbringing.
CMC I dunno that it’s that clear cut in terms of who is the “more evil” of the two parents. I’m thinking that when the Lohan kids were being raised, Michael was probably the terrible parent. But now that they are adults, I kind of have to go with Dina as the more terrible parent, because at the very LEAST, Michael admits Lindsay has a problem and attempts to get help for her! Dina’s stupid ass, on the other hand, is still in complete denial, enabling Lindsay to continue on this downward spiral that could very well end in death from drug overdose or something!! Great mom.
It is very sad to see her spiraling down so badly! I don’t want to think it but I see her going down the same road as Amy winehouse ….
I am not proud that I’m going to say this but, I tend to agree with this statement. She had to have been doing something other than coke.
I’ve seen pictures of her since then and her teeth look just fine (or like they use too), so I’m on the fence on this, not sure what to think.

Forgot to add this to my earlier post – I haven’t ever heard Father of the Year Michael Lohan to ever publicly admit his responsibility for what a mess Lindsay’s life has become. Have I missed this??? If he’d been a parent to her, guided and raised her better her life would be so different right now. Dina’s no better. She seems to be an opportunistic stage mom.
I agree that he has been a terrible parent in many respects…but he has also been the only one saying she needs serious help to get over her addictions. He isn’t 100% perfect, but I don’t think he is 100% awful either.

Agreed. Michael and Dina are both terrible parents, but Dina has been the one enabling Lindsay and helping to perpetuate her addictions and issues for years now.
Everyone is blaming here parents – but that’s not an excuse, IMO. No matter how effed up her parents are, it’s up to *HER* to turn it around. Lindsay made choices. Bad ones. That’s no one elses fault (or responsibility) but hers.
I read that LL was supposed to go to the Morgue today, but she was 40 minutes late, so they turned her away. Then she tweeted that she couldn’t find the entrance, and the morgue staff made a public statement that she had been at the morgue BEFORE, so that was complete BS.
This is such a soap opera…but sadly, it is real.
not that i believe her (since she’s always one to make excuses rather than taking responsibility for her actions like an adult), but why not just f*cking CALL the morgue and ask where the damn door is if you “can’t find it” instead of tweeting about it?! i’m sure it’s not THAT big of a place – i mean, how many freakin doors could they have?! ahhh!!!

yes, her parents are as screwed up as lindsay (if not more than)… however, she is a f*cking adult. she has been for 7 years now. i was raised my mother, who is a batsh*t crazy alcoholic, but i turned out fine since it was MY decision to do so. this girl has NO excuse – she came from a very privileged life and has had all kinds of opportunities that most of us can only hope to dream of and she BLEW THEM ALL. no one put a gun to her head and made her smoke that crack/meth pipe – she did it herself. i’m really getting sick of this girl. lock her up already and don’t let her out for a year! sadly, i think that’s the only way she will ever learn…
A girl I know that used to hang out with LL and some of her friends in NY (when she spent more time here) told me years ago that LL smoked crack. I didn’t believe her, because I don’t like her, but now I don’t really have a choice.
I clicked on that link Trent posted for the Gawker article concerning her teeth. They had an old pic of her and when I looked at it, and looked at her most recent pic from court, my stomach sank and I became scared at the reality of what drugs do to people.. its scary, she’s wrecked.
This is my question-doesnt she get drug tested for her probation?? Everyone I have known on probation has-so seriously how would she get away with that??
