Early last month we got our first look at Rihanna as the new female celebrity spokesmodel for Armani Jeans and Armani Underwear and, as you may recall, she sports a pretty sad-looking blonde wig in the photos. Today we get to see new photos of blonde Rihanna but this time she is lookin’ MUCH better on the cover of British Vogue magazine. As a superstar you can expect the rough with the smooth. And having been chased from a muddy field by an angry farmer for posing topless on his land, Rihanna was certainly due some luck. Today the risque R&B singer finds herself on the cover of style bible Vogue. In the front picture she presents an almost sophisticated look with a Monroesque pout and blonde hair. Inside, however, she’s back to her old tricks – posing more provocatively and revealing every inch of her legs against some rusty girders. She also sports a natty beret. Rihanna has courted controversy with a series of edgy videos – including being tied up and taped to the wall with clingfilm in the video to her hit ‘S&M’. But in a Vogue interview, the singer insists: ‘That’s not me. That’s a part I play. You know, like it’s a piece of art… I just want to make music.’ The singer, born Robyn Rihanna Fenty, said that life with her parents, Monica Braithwaite and Ronald Fenty, triggered her rebellious attitude. ‘I saw too much. I was way too mature for my age,’ she revealed.
One of the things that I love most about Rihanna is her no-nonsense attitude. She does what she wants, she dresses how she likes and she never seems to let the criticism phase her. She reminds me of a young Madonna … a popstar who never feared to express herself with her various style incarnations. I seem to recall that Maddy used to be vilified by some for being too risqué and now the same seems to said about Rihanna. I may not love all of her looks and/or style choices but I do love her ability to keep things fresh and new. Rihanna looks great in this Vogue feature. What do y’all think … do we love?

She would intimidate anyone of any age with her looks! The ‘kitten’ stuff was probably Pon de Replay > SOS at the most. After that, she just grew up and matured and has never really seemed her age, always older.
Black people look absloutely ridiculous in platinum blonde hair. Love the cute but the color…mmh mmh ma!

People from Barbados are called Bajans and “Bajan” is not a race but a nationality/ethnicity. The majority of Bajans are of African descent. There are plenty of darker skinned peoples from the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, etc who would more than likely be considered black in the U.S. with naturally blonde hair.
I think she is just fantastic! She has worked so hard to get where she is. She looks so gorgeous. Love her! The shoot is great too!
I think she looks beautiful and totally bombshell beautiful in this shoot. The blonde is just the right tone to complement her complexion. I rather look at Rihanna with this look all day, than the countless posts of tragic Lindsay LOLohan with her straw hair and ridiculous waste of life occurances!
Good to know…but IMO i think people with darker complexion look odd. Rihanna looks great except blonde hair.
Well, that is your opinion and opinions are like ***holes…everybody has one. I HAPPEN to think that it looks BEAUTIFUL on her. Thanks for sharing your opinion how you think “BLACKS” look “ODD” with blonde hair.
Can we also take a moment to clarify for those who are ignorant that just because someone has a darker complexion, does not mean they are automatically “black”. As @Blue has stated, there are darker skinned people that have naturally occuring blonde hair.
Rihanna is an artist. She treats her look as a canvas,to not only entertain herself, but also to entertain the audience. IMO, she shuts it down everytime!!!
