After holidaying in France and then film festivaling in Italy, Madonna and her children returned home to NYC, NY this weekend presumably to rest up from their recent travels before she has to jet up to Canada for the Toronto International Film Festival. As you may recall, we previously learned that Madonna‘s new film W.E. will make it’s North American debut at the TFF so she must be very excited/scared for her film’s premiere. W.E. didn’t really fare well with the critics in Venice … so we’ll have to see how the critics in Toronto feel about the film.
Madonna’s children have already racked up more air miles than many people travel in a lifetime. The jet setting family was spotted boarding a flight today at London’s Heathrow Airport. Clearly dressed for comfort, Madonna looked stylish in loose-fitting black trousers, a white blouse and a feathery scarf around her neck. With almost no make-up and sunglasses covering her eyes, the Material mum breezed through the airport with 14-year-old daughter Lourdes and 11-year-old son Rocco by her side. Hours later the 53-year-old superstar flashed a big grin as she arrived at New York’s JFK Airport. She was pictured with Rocco, her six-year-old son David Banda and daughter Mercy James, who waved at the crowd of photographers waiting to snap the family’s picture.
Look at how big her kids are! Dang … they were all babies not too long ago … now they’re grown kids! Rocco looks so much like his dad, it’s crazy. Here’s hoping Maddy gets to enjoy some downtime before she has to jet up to Toronto. I’m guessing she’ll have some recording work to do while she’s in NYC but, well, Madonna is always working. Curiously, her toyboy Brahim Zaibat did not travel with Maddy and the kids. HMMM.

She looks great, and the kids are growing fine, and happy… She’s a great mother.
wow, I guess we haven’t seen Rocco in a long time. It’s amazing how quickily kids grow!
Nothing curious about the fact Brahim didn’t travel with them.
He is WORKING, as USUAL. He spends a few weeks working,dancing,travelling and then he spends a few weeks w his girlfriend.
Brahim is currently on the Red Bull Flying Bach tour with his crew, the Flying Steps.
And by the way it’s Brahim’s BIRTHDAY today ! Happy 25th to him !

@DeeDee — I believe Madonna and Guy have joint custody of their children. But, yes, depending on the school sitch, she may have the primary custody.
