Bethenny Frankel who first found fame on The Real Housewives of NYC and then found fortune with her Skinny Girl Margarita mixed drink is now moving into the realm of talk shows. According to a new report, Bethenny will host a talk show produced by Telepictures … and will have Ellen DeGeneres in her corner! I mean, wow … talk about living the dream. Is there nothing that Bethenny can’t do?

Bethenny Frankel has always been the girl who knows when it’s time to leave a party — and when it comes to her fame-making network, that time is now. Bravo’s fast-talking sweetheart, who won audiences over on “The Real Housewives of New York” as well as her own spin-off series, has been inducted as the newest host of a forthcoming Telepictures talk show project — in which Ellen DeGeneres is also involved. “Telepictures couldn’t be happier with the pilot Bethenny shot. They know they have discovered the next great talk show host and it’s Bethenny,” a TV insider tells me. “This is 100 percent on the fast track. Plus, with Ellen behind her this will be huge.” But with the next step in Frankel’s amazing career about to take off, she is finally getting ready to say goodbye to the network that made her a star. “Bravo has been good to Bethenny but at the same time, Bethenny has been good to Bravo,” a friend of the reality star tells me. “This is business and making the right move for her future. She will always be grateful for everything they have done but at the same time, after the tragic news of the suicide of a cast member of the Beverly Hills ‘Housewives,’ she doesn’t want to be part of an organization that rewards bad behavior.” The new season of Frankel’s solo Bravo reality show (which will run under the new title, “Bethenny Goes L.A.”) will debut later this year, but if everything goes as planned, expect it to be her last.
It is very true that Bravo has been good to Bethenny and she, in turn, has been good to them. I’m not sure how I feel, tho, about Bethenny as a talk show host. I think she’ll do a good job but it’s tough to keep talk shows going. My guess is that the show, should it ever make it to air, will do well in the start … but she may find difficulty in the sustaining. I wish her well tho. Bethenny is all kinds of awesome. I love how all of her success is pretty much self-made. She is deffo someone to look up to and admire.

I 100 percent agree!! Talk show hosts, no matter who they are, can become rather boring quickly. I think Bethenny might have the skills to keep it around and she already has a huge following!! “She doesn’t want to be part of an orginization that rewards bad behavior”…LOL, ridiculous!!
I LOVE Bethenny and am very happy for her. I agree with you Trent though– I think it will do well in the beginning possibly, but be hard to sustain. I wish her nothing but success.
It does make me sad though that this will be her last reality show. I love Bethenney Ever After (and all the other titles!)
Yay! So happy for her!! She has always been my favorite Housewife and I was so happy to follow her after she left the show..I totally agree with Hillary..So stoked for her, but sad we’re going to miss out on the reality aspect of it..
She actually first found “fame” on the Martha Stewart version of the Apprentice. How sad that I know that…
Maybe they should do a mix reality show and talk show, half hour of each, I think I would really love that. Maybe I should be a producer for Bethenny. I would really love that too. :)
I really don’t understand why people find her interesting to watch. I find her so grating. But then again, we live in a time where the Kardashians can not only be stars but have an empire.
I am thrilled for Bethenny. She has worked her duff off for this. I, too, will miss seeing her daily life with Jason, Bryn, Cookie and Julie. She is an example of “It doesn’t matter how you start out, it’s how you finish that counts”. Now that she will be totally gone from Bravo, so will I. Bravo has become so toxic and sad.
Is there nothing that Bethenny can’t do? Yes…get me to watch ANY show that she appears on. I don’t find her attractive in appearance or behavior, and her voice can take the rust off a car bumper…I would not want to even be in the same room with her…Her Ego takes sucks up too much air. To me, from her first appearance on ‘The Apprentice’ till now…she’s an automatic channel change.
I have to say she’s growing on me. She’s a little loud, and a little obnoxious, and I still kind of like her.
I watched her on The View as a co-host, and she did amazing. I think she’d be far more successful on that show than on her own. But I love her, so I’d support whatever she does. She really is great and does really great things. She is a total business woman (and I knew of her history on Apprentice Martha! I loved her then too!) and I absolutely am impressed with her and wish I could be as good as she is at what she does.
