Last week we got our first look at the iconic Catwoman character filming scenes for the upcoming sequel film Batman: The Dark Knight Rises on the streets of Pittsburgh, PA and today we get to check out some fun video from the set. As you should be WELL aware by now, Anne Hathaway has been cast in the Catwoman role but the video below features her stuntwoman doing all the dirty work. Unfortunately, a stunt scene went wrong and Catwoman, astride Batman’s Batcycle (I refuse to call it a Batpod), accidentally crashed into a very expensive camera. Whoops!! Check it out below.
There was unscripted drama on the set of The Dark Knight Rises when a stunt double for Anne Hathaway crashed into expensive camera equipment. The accident happened while filming an action sequence outside the Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh on Friday. The unnamed female cast member, dress in Hathaway’s PVC suit, drove over a IMAX film camera while driving the two-wheeled ‘Batpod’ down a flight of stairs. The stunt double and cameraman were both uninjured in the smash, according to TMZ, but the equipment was destroyed. The cost of the damage is not yet known and a spokesperson for Warner Bros had no comment.
Meh. As long as no one was injured, then all is well. But, this proves one thing for sure … Catwomen can’t drive. They should leave that task to the Batmen.
Just kiddddding ;)0
