First we got a batch of 4 character posters from The AvengersCaptain America, Iron Man, Black Widow & Hawkeye — then we got another 2 character posters for Thor and Nick Fury. Curiously absent has been The Hulk, an integral member of the Avengers team. Today, at long last, we FINALLY get to see the concept poster artwork for the big green guy. Following a three-day buildup, Marvel has unveiled The Avengers concept poster for the Hulk, featuring the movie’s Green Goliath as well as actor Mark Ruffalo. It’s release this morning at Comic-Con International completes a seven-piece interconnecting series that also features Chris Evans as Captain America, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, and Samuel L. Jackson, Clark Gregg and Cobie Smulders as S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives Nick Fury, Phil Coulson and Maria Hill.

Looks great, me likey. You can click HERE to see all of the Avengers character posters stitched together as one. I’m a fan of The Hulk and I love that Mark Ruffalo will play him in the film so … I’ve been looking forward to the release of this poster. I’m not sure why this poster in particular was saved for last but … good things do come to those who wait. What do y’all think of The Avengers assembled?

  • Mr. Gyllenhaal

I can’t wait to see this movie!! It looks amazing.

    Shrek’s brother, is that you?

I think it slowly about time they stopped with the Hulk stuff. Both of those movies bombed with good reason. I liked the old TV show and understand that this is part of the Avengers, but here we go with more recycled cr*p.

    • @Sean — I don’t think the second movie bombed. The first one was terrible because Ang Lee doesn’t know how to make a superhero action film. The second movie was brilliant — a perfect marriage of the comic books and the 70s TV series. The Hulk is an integral member of The Avengers, the whole movie would never happen without him. The ONLY reason Ed Norton wasn’t cast as The Hulk in The Avengers is because he wanted too much money … so they had to recast him. I trust that Joss Whedon will make a great film.

I am sooooo burnt out on comic book movies. I think The Avengers concept just made them pump out too many stories in a short amount of time. Yawn.

  • Andrea

Im still bummed no Ed Norton…

  • Dustin

I think that Joss is going to make the best Super hero movie ever!! I don’t personally see Mark in the background image on the hulk poster but the whole avengers poster looks amazing. And I think that the disney/marvel studio would be genius if they followed up the avengers movie with a Marvel Civil War series of movies.
