It’s been about 7 weeks since we learned that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon became the proud parents of twin babies they named Monroe and Moroccan Scott and we’ve seen nary hide nor hair of the little darlings … nada. All of that changed yesterday when Mimi tweeted the FIRST PHOTO of her daughter Monroe for all the world to see. While we don’t actually get a very good look at the little girl’s face, we do get to see her cute and tiny little hand and her full head of hair as she lays in her baby chair. It feels like Mimi and Nick are getting really close to releasing the first official photos of their babies … and this photo is just a teaser of what’s to come. Altho we don’t really see anything substantial in the photo, I’m guessing the publication they’ve made their “first photo” deal with is prolly really nervous that Mariah is teasing photos of her babies on Twitter. I, personally, hope she continues to tease photos … cuz I wanna see the cute little darlings. I think it’s only fair that she tease a photo of Moroccan Scott next, don’t you? Perhaps a photo of his litte foot?

@Iris — I think it was heartfelt and honest. I can totally appreciate her desire for privacy but, unfortch, as a celebrity she has to take the good with the bad. I applaud her frankness and am more convinced than ever that she will be an amazing mother to little Willow.

Um Mariah did it this way because she couldn’t get good money for a magazine spread due to hollywood’s ageism against women having children at a certain age. Celebs selling pics of their babies to magazines is nothing new. for example in a 1965 issue of Life Magazine there’s a picture of Paul Newman holding his & Joanne Woodward’s youngest daughter Claire when she’s about 6 months old and they weren’t paid to have that picture printed she just happened to hand the baby to him while the photographer was changing a role of film and that was the next picture taken. here’s the pic [IMG]http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j47/siunavez/Photo008-1.jpg[/IMG]
Mariah is awesome. Love her and so happy for her and her hot husband and too cute children. She definitely deserves the best because she has blessed us all with her talent. I can only imagine how talented her children will be and am so happy and excited for her.
@brent I couldn’t agree with you more Mariah & Nick so deserve the happiness they’re experiencing now as parents. epsecially after they struggled to have children after she miscarried in 2008 but the twins aren’t a replacement for the one they lost. but likeI said before they weren’t gonna get good money for the pictures because of Mariah’s age and the fact the babies are mixed
i think the fact that someone is mixed, has no merit at all as to why they did not get money for the pic..nor her age thats just plain silly….and besides mariah is half black and nick is black….so what does that make the kids????maybe you should have said that the reason they did not get alot of money for the pictures is because they are black,if u want to put race in it.however that would be stupid as well ..please people every time there something going on in this world someone always brings race into it ….plz stop for the sake of peace….i am not being mean to u i am just saying ppl stop bringing up race when it is not necessary…i also understand that u have ur opion as to why the pictures did not sale,and u are entitled to that…

be patient they’ll release them soon enough. Mariah isn’t only Irish from her mother but also german so the babies are 50% african american 25% Venezuelan and 25% German & Irish. let them enjoy Roc n Roe privately as long as they want to after what tey went through to have children. and no they won’t be having more children Mariah has said she’s done with the twins since before they were born due in part to how difficult the pregnancy was

I Think Both Moroccan Scott And Monroe Will Both Have Light Brown/Dark Tan Complexion So The Babies Are Going To Be A Mixture Of African American, Afro-Venezuelan, Irish, German And Caucasian Descent And They Will Both Have Mom And Dad’s Complexion.
