Last night in Sacramento, CA, our dear Queen of Pop Britney Spears kicked off the first night of her much anticipated Femme Fatale Tour in front of a sold out house at the Power Balance Pavilion and, as I predicted, THRILLED the audience with a stellar performance! As you may recall, I was lucky enough to get an early preview of Britney‘s new tour last week and based on what I saw with my own eyes and heard LIVE with my own ears, I knew that Britney was going to absolutely SLAY the crowd once the tour got underway. GAHHHHHH!!! I’M SO DYING!!! I was reading all the tweets on Twitter last night right as Britney hit the stage and I was just DYING … and I got to see the show already! If I had not gotten to see the show early, last night’s tweets would’ve killed me DEAD! No question. Every single person tweeting from the show was gushing their hearts out … Britney more than WOWed the crowd last night. Next up, Britney takes the show to San Jose, CA this weekend … and then she hits LA on Monday. I will DEFFO be in the house on Monday for Britney‘s LA show. I am SO freaking excited to see the show again … I can’t wait!! People … if you haven’t already, get your tickets to see this show. You simply cannot miss this show. Woot!!!

I tried reallllllly hard to not spoil myself but that shipped sailed after I read the detailed account if each performance from a breatheheavy reader who attended the Sacramento rehearsal….and I stated up all night watching every grainy video to first pop up…haha I’m seeing her in San Jo Saturday!!!! I cannot WAIT!!!!!!!!!! Bow down to godney spears!! My pop queen!

OMG! – The ‘Its Britney Bitch’ t-shirt that is now being sold at her tour merch stand, was sold in her official website’s ‘Pop-Up Shop’, it was supposed to be a limited edition web exclusive design, only available for 24 hours (I bought one)…. I love Britney, but *shock!*… I do hope she brings the tour to Australia though. :-)

Agreed Katie. And some of these bloggers that went to her dress rehearsal thing last week said Gimme More was the best performance. If THAT is the best performance I’m glad I didnt buy tickets. She barely danced!?
People expect too much. If she’s singing live, she can’t be jumping around and dancing as hard as she does. They want her to sing live, they want her to dance hard…they can’t have both and she is delivering what her fans want by mixing it up and she’s doing it with her heart.
I don’t get it either. And it is possible to walk around stage with purpose and intent and style…

@nicole, Thank you. I’ve been a britney fan since day one. But I work hard for $100, I work part time, $8 an hour for 6 hours a day, thats two days of work. If I’m gonna pay all that money, I better be getting a damn good show, especially since I have college to pay for >.< yay Rutgers.

im not even a fan. ive been to one concert, for the circus tour, i took my sister cause shes a die hard fan, and it felt like a waste of moeney. her lip syncing is whatever to me. but if she doesnt sing, and cant put the effort in to dance, then why bother? im not paying $200+ to watch someone fling thier hair & arm around.
i know the girl can dance, i saw the rehersal footage for both tours, its the heels the slow her down.
I think Britney is much improved from her Circus tour and from her recent promo tour for the new album, but the tour costumer should be axed! Britney does look great for having two kids and being almost 30, but those outfits she is in are not flattering at all. They even look cheaply designed and constructed. Britney is iconic and deserves iconic costumes as well!
I attended the show last night. As I was headed to the show, I had no idea what was in store for me. I didn’t look at the setlist, costumes, or any other sort of spoilers. Our seats with only about fifteen feet away from the main stage. She opened the show with Hold It Against Me, and I was screaming my head off. Britney was looking incredible, and she kicked that stage’s ass! It was great to see her perform 3, considering she has never done that song before. As well as Gimme More. When I heard It’s Britney Bitch!, I nearly lost it. Don’t Let Me Be the Last to Know was very nostalgic for me. She did a perfect job with the song. Every costume was stunning! The set designs really elaborate, and so amazing! The show had a higher energy than any other Britney show I’ve seen, and Britney herself exuded that energy as well. My friend and I did not sit down for one second! Her determination to put on a great performance really showed last night. I hate to say this, but this made her last tour look tame. All in all, it was the definition of the word SPECTACULAR! She really blew my expectations through the roof! Now, I’m just hoping there is a second US leg. Hahaha!

I had side stage seats. We were on the left side of the stage, and only a few feet away. Britney looked at us, and I almost had a mental breakdown! LOL
I WAS THERE LAST NIGHT AND I WAS COMPLETELY S-L-A-Y-E-D! I was literally 10 feet away from Britney… She is such an amazing performer. People can criticize all they want but when they actually attend a show of hers then they’ll be blown away! Britney sang live and her energy was AMAZING! She didn’t take any breaks at all in-between songs… The numbers were PHENOMENAL and it’s hard to just pick one. We, the audience, were SO energetic… Britney looked genuinely happy; she was all smiles throughout the whole show. She looked radiant. Her dancing has improved, too. SO much better than the Circus tour. Nicki didn’t come out to join Britney. In all honesty, Jesse and the Boy Toys was a highlight and Nicki, in all honesty, was just OK; she didn’t come on stage with Britney, unfortunately. Also, I was disappointed that there was NO cameras involved. I thought it was bullshit, to be honest. Everyone had to use their cell phones and when people tried to sneak cameras inside and they were turned away and had to put them away and go back in line AGAIN… It was ridiculous. I was so bummed that I didn’t get any cell phone pictures. :( I did, however win a t-shirt. ; ) All in all, I had the time of my life.
@CHASE — WAIT, they really didn’t allow cameras? From all the videos and photos, it looks like EVERYONE had a camera. HMMM.
No, Trent! I wanted to cry. I brought my Sony Bloggie HD camera and as soon as I entered the parking in the arena there was signs all over that said, “No Cameras of any kind allowed at tonight’s show” and I asked the ticket lady and she said they would be confiscated if brought in… Then we were waiting in line and going through security and a lot of people in front of me got denied entry because they had cameras. We were waiting in line to go in the arena and there were more signs. There was security patrolling the main floor where I was and he told two people to put their cameras away. Everyone had an iPhone or a good camera phone (I didn’t) and that’s where people took their pictures… However, people in the upper levels had cameras and it seemed that security up there wasn’t as tight as it was on the main floor. I was so disappointed. : ( I tried to leave during a break to fetch my camera but they said if I left the arena then I couldn’t come back in.
it annoys me when people say “oh I wouldn’t spend like 200 dollars blah blah blah” but who said you had to get the most expensive ticket? Can’t you get tickets for like 40-50 dollars?
Her singing was amazing in that show! and the choreo – when she did it was incredible, especially Slave!
Britney ALWAYS delivers an amazing show. Everything comes together and they are always worth the money. I can’t wait for her to come to Australia. Otherwise I hope they add more dates in England and I am soooo there

And i like britney. I have liked her since the beginning. But i dont think she deserves the praise she has been getting lately. Her dancing just doesnt even come close to comparing. And the FF album has so many danceable songs. It a shame that the dances wont reach the potential they have.

Britney sang ONE song live, and to give credit where credit is due, I will say that she sounded pretty good on it. I got free tickets from NOW 100.5, cuz while I do like Britney, I wasnt going to shell out $200 bucks to see someone lip-sync her way through a 90 minute show. Thankfully, a couple weeks ago they reduced the prices of her tickets and put them on groupon, so she filled a ton more seats, it looked to be close to selling out. It’s easy for people to be hard on Britney, for the whole live singing thing- sure Pink, Lady Gaga and Beyonce can all perform AND sing live at the same time, but not everyone is classicly trained like they are. I think Brit did a pretty good job, and looked great for being a mother of two. Would have preferred a stronger setlist, but it was the best free show I ever went to.

i went to the circus tour in 2009 and im going to the femme fatale tour here in 3 days and im soooooooooooooooooooooooo excited! people can say what they want about britney, but the fact is she is an ICON and the pop princess of all pop princesses who puts on a show like no other! noone comes close to commanding the attention of the sexxy miss spears (if gaga took off the clown outfits, noone would give a damn about her ugly a** and she KNOWS it, which is why she continues to dress like a freak) all hail queen britney!
Wow! Show looks so awesome. I planned on going to the show here in Glendale, AZ on Wednesday 6/22 but had my wallet stolen and my credit/debit cards wiped out before I even noticed (was taken from a family member). So now I will have to stay tuned in to your blog for all of the deets. Oh well, maybe next tour I will finally get to see our dear Britney! My boyfriend is uber sad that we are not going! Was going to be his first Britney concert!!! :(

I went to a Femme Fatale concert in Jacksonville Florida July 23!!!….IT WAS AMAZING!!! I give her so much credit she is 29 years old with 2 children and still doing this!!….I can say that the people who grew up listening to Britney Spears (and still do)…will absolutely LOVE this show!!! For those of you who go will be so pleased with the songs she sings!!…and I can tell you right now to bring lots of money because the tour merchandise is worth buying!..sadly I didn’t bring enough so I only bought a poster!…I hope she will put the stuff online after her tour!!….but altogether the show was fabulous!!!….IT’S BRITNEY BITCH!!!(:<3
