Last night, the judges on NBC‘s singing competition show The Voice, performed a cover of the Queen classic song We Are The Champions to show the contestants how it’s done. Adam Levine was joined by Cee Lo Green, Blake Shelton and finally Christina Aguilera for the performance which was, IMHO, fun if not spectacular. There were deffo highlights of the performance and some performers sang better than others but overall, it was a great treat to watch. Despite the fact that she unbelievably thought it would be a good idea to wear those horribly unflattering shorts on national TV, the girl can sing and sing well. Adam Levine does a great falsetto so I think he is my second fave performer of this bunch. Cee Lo was just alright … Blake, notsomuch. But this is just my opinion … what do y’all think? Are you impressed by this performance? Did these Voice judges do this Queen classic justice?

i think the only issue with blake, was this clearly wasnt the kind of song for his voice, but overall it was fantastic.
i read somewhere yesterday that they want the judges to record an orginial song together, and i hope they do, the could come out with something amazing.
The whole thing sounds like a hot mess to me. But that is just me.

i do too because Christina always takes the spotlight, im gonna keep this short so shes a good singer but sometimes she needs to shut up and not over do it…give the others a chance.:)
Blake’s more of an “Elvis” guy than a Freddie” in terms of rock. Understandable. Viva la Aguilera!
The Queen Medley may have not been BLake’s strong point but I must say he rocked the performance of Maroon 5′s This Love with his group.
I thought they all did good! I was very embarrassed when everyone was swinging there hands around in the audience. Sorry, that was cringe worthy!

Yea, Blake definitely rocked the ‘This Love’ song. His part was the best part of that performance.

I really love Christina & Adam (my 2 favs) but this performance was “ehh” I like the 1st one they did on the 1st show – thought that performance was way better.
Queen’s in a whole different stratosphere. IMHO I found the cover horrible, but I still love the show!

You have put on a few lbs. Not that you look bad, in fact, I think girls look best with a little bit of curve. However, this means that you should wear clothing that flatters your new figure.

I watch the show for the first time last night and it was pretty good but Christina really bothered the heck out of me. I kept thinking shut up Christina. Plus what was with her legs last night? There was something wrong there and she shouldn’t be wearing those shorts either

i gotta agree, Adam was so pure with his voice its crystal clear, cee lo did a good job, considering the part of the song given (very hard i think), blake was good as well but it just wasnt his cup of tea and christina … well amazing as always)
i am a huge aguilera fan, but i also gotta admit that during the show itself some of her remarks was so … just dumb IMHO. I mean whatsup with all that anymosity towards blake? and those comments of “take off your pants”… or is it all part of the show?

Such an awesome show. The talent is amazing-Love Dia, Frenchie and Bev-, and it’s so weirdly cool how Xtina can bring all of the unpredictibility and odd fashion choices of the Real Housewives and Snookie to this show, BUT also her brilliant unparalleled knowledge of true singing, both technical and artistic!
That is the worst crap attempt of queen I’ve ever seen…YOU CAN’T REMAKE QUEEN! ESPECIALLY NOT BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY!

Okay, the song went off alright. I was entertained. But those shorts. Not so flattering, totally weirdly distracting. She looked way better in the Lady Marmalade getup. But I really don’t wanna hate on her for dressing however she wants to with her bold self. But all the crap in your pants and sexual reference with the boys was weird. Maybe she had her drunk on, cause she was freaking irritating. CeeLoo was the only one who didn’t do any drama with her and I liked it that way. I love Xenia, but I wish she would learn to move her body.
