Miley Cyrus, currently on tour abroad, spent a little time last week playing tourist in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with her mother Leticia Tish Cyrus. The pair were spotted chillin’ with the famed Christ the Redeemer state in Rio snapping away like all the other tourists there at the same time. I know one of the things I hope to do at some point in my life is visit this statue in Rio. It is truly one of the modern wonders of the world and I would love to be able to check it out in person. I think it’s totally normal for a celeb like Miley to be humbled in the presence of such a stunning statue and why wouldn’t she be snapping photos like a tourist? While I am not a fan of Miley‘s cover of the Nirvana song Smells Like Teen Spirit, I am on baord with the down-to-Earthness she is exhibiting here.
